Map transfer

OK so me and my friend want to start playing our map on tekkit

but I have no idea how :/ so if you could help that would be greatly

appreciated

First off, you really should be posting in the Tekkit section.

Anyways, I don't know how the new map format will work with old format. I'm guessing not very well, but if it does work, you would have to explore new areas to get all the new ores and such. You can just try and put your world in the Tekkit folder and call it world to see if it works.
