Connecting to server issue

Operating System: Windows 7 64bit

Version of Java: 7.0.40.22

Description of Problem: I cant seem to connect to my server 100% of the time. I usually have to try to connect about 3-4 times before i can actually get onto my server.

Error Messages:

[iNFO] Disconnecting ***********: Took too long to log in

[iNFO] Read timed out

I observe this too, my machine setup is alike yours. I connect to a server in LAN.

This has nothing to do with Tekkit. It's just Minecrafts login servers being wonky at the moment. Keep trying to connect.

me and most of my players are haveing this issue as well vanilla minecraft seems fine thro but its tekkit thats haveing the issue
