Problem even loading Technic Launcher

Hi. To put a long story short, I've downloaded Technic Launcher about 20 times, and on each occasion the actual launcher doesn't even load. I just get the logo hanging in the middle of my screen, with no idea what to do and an obstructed view. So I'm stuck in that position every single time.

Launcher/pack Version: Latest, Launcher EXE (1.0.1.3) and then when that didn't work Launcher JAR (1.0.1.3)

Operating System: Windows Vista, 64bit

Version of Java: Java 7 64bit, update four

I apologise if this has been answered, but I read the rules and Original posts and couldn't find anything like this.

Run the .jar with a batch file, like the one that comes with the server (rename the file being accessed), and include a "pause" as a second line. Do you get an error (you should)? Come back and tell us what it is. Also, thanks for the bug report - for a first post, that's well done.
