out of date tekkit launcher for new server?

i set up a server on the newest version of tekkit, which was all perfectly working. I then went to play on it with my friends, using the same computer i loaded up my technic launcher and attempted to connect.

on the server console it said i have an out of date client and i couldn't get on the server!

please help!

A: Hes using a outdated server and you're on the latest client.
