[3.0.3/3.0.4] NEI crashes minecraft

Title: NEI crashes minecraft

Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4

OS: Ubuntu 12.04

Java Version: OpenJDK 7u3

Description of Problem:

I'm assuming it's NEI, because it first crashed when I was typing a search into NEI when the client just spontaenously closed. No warning, just crash, and java is no longer running.

Now, whenever I login to Tekkit I press E, java dies. I can't open my inventory anymore.

I assume you are not using Tekkit for Single Player so:

Get the server admin (or you do it if you are the server admin) to delete your player dat file (found in the map directory, under Players).

This will clear your player information such as current inventory and armor, but you might be able to get into game again :)
