  3. @JaariAtmc Glad to know. @AetherPirate I've gotten the pack worked out but do you know a way around the technic launcher not displaying the newest changelog/updates until hours later. It's gotten a bit tedious to keep having to reupload to dropbox and wait to retest over and over. I assume there's a quick way to refresh this?

Also, to give more of an explanation on the issue, upon opening the pack it loads fine however the mouse is not registered on buttons for a while (turn blue) and when clicked it takes a while to load. Scrolling the mods is also laggy Here's some insight that might be helpful, and yes I know who he is irl so please don't say I'm just trying to give insight on an issue I don't know.
  5. Ohhh! I'm a true idiot xD Since I'm on a mac if I put stuff in a folder named modpack it compresses it into modpack.zip. That must be my issue. Thank you so much!

  7. Finally the 3rd update/changelog went into place but unfortunately there are still no mods. I'm not really sure what to do now as there must be something completely wrong but I have no clue what it is.
  8. The update has been added but no mods are in the pack... :/ I'm recreating a dropbox account to be tested for reuse of the modpack but I am not entirely sure if that is the case.
  9. The technic launcher won't add the new update :/ 1.2*
  10. Nevermind, it's downloading now after adding an update (1.1, added Hats Mod) but it says downloading mod NAME-1.0.zip not NAME-1.1.zip. Not sure if hats is there though. Usch, now there are no mods?! I think I messed something up with Dropbox so I'm reuploading it. Hopefully this fixes this issue. I fixed the dropbox issue but there are no mods! In the link I have mods but nothing is in game!
  11. Okay so I tested BareBonesPack and I sucessfully made a pack. I have it uploaded to dropbox (https://www.dropbox.com/s/q3dhm4ttwy4piqp/modpack.zip?dl=0 ~ Yes, it's a 1 not a 0 in the settings.) and I have it in the technic launcher but upon installing I get this. "Error unzipping a file from the following pack: Town of Rift Realms. Attempting to extract file town-of-rift-realms-1.0.zip, but it did not exist. Please consult the modpack author." The file in dropbox is modpack.zip.
  12. Well then, naming it not modpack.zip was one of my faults. Thanks. I'll try Plowmans Barebones and hopefully that'll help. I'll keep you posted, I'll be back around 4 your time. (We have the same time zone if you find that weird.)

Sadly after adding those configs there was no mods in the pack. https://www.dropbox.com/s/797vkipk24ncnuc/aetherpirate.zip?dl=0 is my modpack in the technic folder and the .zip I have uploaded to dropbox. // if only there was super-compression so I could have my files uploaded to the site and not wait dropbox's terribly so upload/download time D: Also, would it be too late to add the portal gun mod?

Odd, surprisingly I reinstalled it and the mods are loading. *crosses fingers for luck!* Edit 1: No mods are loading except Forge, FML, and Minecraft Coder Pack, I'm checking the config in the technic folder. Edit 2: I have gained 3 config files. Forge.cfg, Forge.ChunkLoading.cfg, splash.properties.
  15. Should I not be downloading my pack from the site? http://api.technicpack.net/modpack/town-of-realms Or should I drop the raw files into the technic folder? Edit: Sorry if I'm being a bother by not understanding much. I'm new to this and I'm really grateful of the help you're giving me
