wait what do you mean? Once you log in once and check the remember button, your character's skin and username/password gets saved. As to directly starting Tekkit, once you select it once, it stays tekkit until otherwise selected. Please clarify your question.

What I mean is setting up a shortcut to the techniclauncher so that it directly runs tekkit without having to click my username first (unless an update is available), i.e. I click the shortcut once, wait a few seconds, and without further interaction the tekkit client is running.

No at this time the launcher does not have that functionality.. it is possible to be added but would be pretty low on the priority level right now as there are a lot of much higher priority things to get done atm.
