I do not know if anyone else has mentioned this but is there a way for servehosts so have the technic launcher on our ftp site with our mod pack and custom zip already in one of the custom slots? that would make it so easy on our players!
I believe so, get a copy of the launcher and install the modpack, then zip the %APPDATA% folder(Windows) or the Application Support Folder(Mac) and distribute that, just don't login and you won't have to fish out the minecraft.jar (although I would check the folder anyway as a precaution.
