Pretty much. I was assuming things here. Also, it's been ages since I installed Optifine, and I'm certain it was a drop it in the Mods folder and be done with it then.

a) something I haven't seen in Minecraft
something I have seen elsewhere.It's trying to call up a URL it can't find. It's gotta be your firewall.

Now, find your Resources folder and delete it. You will get your sounds back the next time you launch.

Oh, and Technic is not for SMP.
You want Tekkit or Tekkit Lite.
Also, don't use AVG.

There's an ID conflict goin on.
Copy all the config files from the client to the server folder, and replace them all.

Interesting. I can only theorise and say Dropbox is at fault here, for some inexplicable reason.
How much traffic do you get on your server? Maybe a fair amount of people are trying to download or leech it.

What you don't understand is the modpack.jar get's updated as Forge Mod Loader finds the custom .zip you put into the Mods folder.
So just do what the video says, 'kay? It's aaaaaall gonna be okay.
