  1. I want to increase the amount of ores that generate in my own modpack but I don't know how they did it in Big Dig or Hexxit. Does anyone know how to do this?
  2. Here's a better way to ask: If you have set up a energy manipulation config file for a mod in Attack of the B-Team (or any mod actually), can you send it to me please? (Internal names only please, I don't want to adjust the IDs because of mod conflicts
  3. I did the math. At maximum that would cost €980, or, as I'm Australian, $1,500.02. Believe it or not, I don't have that kind of money (at least, not until I finish the book I'm writing). As nice as the offer is, I'm afraid I'll have to turn it down. Enjoy you midterm by NOT fixing mods and actually playing with them. Anyway, I think the YogCraft configuration my help a bit, I'll just have to continually poke it to allow for tinkers and Galacticraft over the next 12 weeks or so. (I can't even remember life without Minecraft =D [in all seriousness, I literally can't, or remember a good chunk of growing up. It was mostly bullying anyway so no tears wasted]). I could use some help though...
  4. Just read this latest forum posts page and a lot of them seem to be about crashes and lag. Does anyone else thing the devs should look for a way to help performance? (They probably are)
  5. I'm a huge fan of the Energy Condenser in EE2, so when it became outdated I started using the Energy Manipulation mod, which pretty much adds it back into the game, along with a storage unit, a battery and a flying ring (yay). I added this mod to Attack of the B-Team to help speed things along but most of the ores and woods and dirt etc. are not included in the config file. Can anyone make me a proper list of how much Energy Value (EV) each block has? I would do it myself but there are over 1600 blocks and items in this modpack, and I don't have the time to sieve through them all (plus a good chunk of them are machines and I don't want to be too cheaty). Anyone willing to help? Config download: https://www.dropbox.com/s/r50wr9x5u6674t7/EMEV.cfg Mod link: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1866335-164162152147-energy-manipulation-1110-stable/ ~~~EDIT~~~ Due to the amount of IDs that need to be done I've come up with a better question. If you have set up a energy manipulation config file for a mod in Attack of the B-Team (or any mod actually), can you send it to me please? I will compile it all into 1 config file and post it here and send a copy to the modder.
  6. I'm not running a texture pack(I'm smarter than that) I have dedicated 3GB to it. As long as I don't leave the computer on for over 12 hours it's fine. And thanks for the advice for Optifine(I was using C9). I was getting simular crashes while setting up my Eternal Night series and I was using C7. That knowledge would of saved me around 4 hours of troubleshooting
  7. Tested. It just creates more errors and asks you to get a clean copy of minecraft.jar
  8. For general minecraft gameplay it run semi-fine(it is minecraft, after all) but if I put a x32 texture pack on without mcpatcher or optifine going, gameplay decreases a lot. I think it's just the fact Attack of the B-Team has over 100 mods going. And I do record to an external hard drive not to speed up my system, but because fraps eats all my hard drive space like it's a soft serve ice cream. If I could get optifine working then it should run a bit smoother. I've tried putting it in mods, coremods inside minecraft.jar and modpack.jar. Anywhere else where I should put it, any mod that's imcompatible, another make-game-run-smoother mod. help... ~~EDIT~~ In the Minecraft.jar, should I remove the META-INF folder. I thought it was already removed to allow for modding, but the forge files are in the modpack.jar. I don't know, what do you think?
  9. I'm intending on doing a let's play series on Attack of the B-Team, but I'm getting large amounts of lag. I've tried changing the render distance to tiny and everything but brightness to minimum, but I'm still lagging. The only programs I should have going while recording are Skype, Fraps, Windows Explorer, Desktop Window Manager, Host Process for Windows Tasks and 2 unnamed tasks labled csrss.exe and winlogon.exe My system specs are: Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.130828-1532) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Acer System Model: Aspire 5750 BIOS: InsydeH2O Version V1.12 Processor: Intel® Core i5-2430M CPU @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz Memory: 4096MB RAM Available OS Memory: 3948MB RAM Page File: 2711MB used, 16234MB available Windows Dir: C:Windows DirectX Version: DirectX 11 Please help, I'll even accept a way to install optifine(Whenever I try to install it, It crashes. Report below) I do need an answer soon as I plan to start filming in a couple of days. Thanks Optifine crash report:
  10. I did that a few weeks ago too, although you can't download it from there without a series of clicks.
  11. When I inserted the mods I had chosen into the client it was fine, but on the server I got this error: Please help
  12. Unfortunately we've already started but that's a good idea. Do I have to find all the mods myself or can I just add the mod to the server and client files. Also can you tell me any website or guide to do this?
  13. An alternative is the Grinder from MineFactory Reloaded. It will kill all Mobs in a 5x5 (front) area and automatically dump the harvested materials out the back or into an adjacent chest or buildcraft pipe. However, it will also kill your cats. Iron golems are more expensive (45 iron bars and a pumpkin) but are better as they will kill all hostile mobs but ghasts(Are you in the nether) and creepers (if you have a lot of cats then they won't be a problem). Use something like an obsidian pipe to get the loot. ~EDIT~ new idea. fill your house with water
  14. hi, I'm the head of a private server me and my friends set up and I was wondering if there was a way to add mods like Flan's mod and PORTABLE MINING LASER mod into the game without everyone else having to install the mods as well. I'm using the 1.1.5 version of the server.
