Something weird happened to me just now, I was trying to harvest some berries (in the mining age) and my mc crashed (It was a Java SocketTimeOutException) and when I logged back in I immediately just died. No death message in chat or anything, it just said : You died. When I came back, all my stuff had already despawned : my whole power armour (equipped with everything I needed, like shields, jetpack, flight control, ...), my power gauntlet, my remote access thingy to my ME system and some other stuff like redstone energy conduits.
Now my question is whether or not there is a way for me to just get that stuff back, or do I make it all over again? I've got the resources, but it'd be a lot easier if there was a way to get them back without having to do so

Nothing for you to apologize for. You weren't aware of the bug so you're not responsible. Also I'd delete where you signed the post.. Technic fourms doesn't like people signing their posts..

I'd like to appologise for crashing the server yesterday, I didn't know my beloved chocobo's would do this, and I'll stay away from them from now on.
When I got on the server, I was inside my base and lagging like hell, didn't know why, but couldn't move, so I just left for some time. When I came back, I saw all my chocobos, except for one, were gone, and TehTub told me about the chocoboproblem, I personally euthanised Ifrit, my last chocobo, so don't you worry, I won't be breeding any chocobo's anymore
TL;DR? I crashed the server, I really am sorry, it won't happen again

The issue is that the newest Big Dig version (1.3.X) is running on 1.5.2 Minecraft version base with the new version of mods.. And our server is at 1.2.2 (1.4.7 Minecraft version) so its not compatible. Setting your pack to use the 1.2.2 build will downgrade the Minecraft version back to 1.4.7 and allow you to play on the server.
oh allright, I see, I'll try it out the moment I get on my own pc
and for me personally I wouldn't mind if the server changed to the new version, tough I really like IC2, it's kinda the main thing I used when playing tekkit, but I guess I'd be able to adapt pretty quick if the server were to change :)

On the launcher under the Big Dig selection there's a little gear icon. Click that.
Then in the window that pops up select "Manually Select Build" and in the drop down box select 1.2.2 and click save.

Ah yes, that might work, but I think it's the minecraft version that's wrong, with me it's 1.5.2, but the server runs on 1.4.7...

Crap...BigDig keeps updating me to 1.5.2 when I don't want it too. I don't know what to do 'till I find a way to bring me back to 1.4.7. Until then I will be off for a short while.
if you find something, could you tell me too? I've got the same problem, and it's quite annoying

Reason for wanting to join: this looks just like what I'm looking for, a nice, small friendly server
Experience: a couple of months with tekkit, I've been out of it for a while, but now I'm looking to get back into it
Magic or Science: I prefer science, but I use EE a little (condenser, flying ring, ...) to make it a bit easier to build and stuff :)

Instead of posting each day the server is down, give the man a break and let him solve the problems........just go do something else meanwhile...when the server gets back up you can most likely expect a status update from KS, just have some patience....

hello there, for some reason, I can't find the server, I inserted the new server adress, but it just says "Can't reach server", would you maybe know why this is?

My in game name is OppositeNote. I'm an 18 year old guy from the beautiful country of Belgium.
I'm not banned from any server.
I've played some Minecraft and Technic by myself, and I've also played about 2-3 months on a Tekkit server, but I left because they decided to not make it a white listed server anymore. It's been about 3 months since I last played (I've been playing lots of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
), but I feel like getting back into Tekkit now.The reason I decided to apply for this server is quite simple: I'm looking for a nice server, that looks good and has friendly and mature people in it, a server without griefing or any of that shenannigans, and this seemed to fit perfectly in that picture :)

I found it already you just have to remove the technic-launcher.jar(normally in your roaming map) and then just start it again, worked for me.

I have the same problem but I can't find the launcher.jar or the launcher updater.exe.

It has worked already for a long time so that is not the problem I think.
