  1. I'm confused, you can enchant the power armour? I need to look into this auto enchanter/mob essence thing, sounds good.
  2. Been playing new Tekkit on and off for a few weeks now ever since I asked a stupid question on the forums which got answered. I haven't built a reactor yet, but we have a charcoal farm/dynamo power system using an me network that seems fine for the time being. If nothing else I have lots of charcoal for the graphite when I get around to it. I'm wondering what kind of armour is available, I know the power suits are in, but I was wondering if there was anything in between scrubby vanilla armour and iron man.
  3. Doing some research last night, presumably I could also use a Tesseract? EDIT: btw, I got my quarry going with the conduits, guess I need to start a reactor going to get some real power set up.
  4. Thank you, this helps a lot. EDIT: Btw, do the dyanamos output to buildcraft energy or do i need a converter?
  5. Also, I'm not really sure what's in the pack as the website doesn't seem to accurately reflect what's included.
  6. I haven't played Tekkit for about a year, and I previously relied heavily on things like Industrial Craft and EE. I'm really struggling with Buildcraft and Thermal Expansion et al. I really have no idea how to go about generating power and applying it to my ME devices and buildcraft lasers/quarries. I generally try to avoid the BC engines as they're either incredibly inefficient, plain dangerous or flat out don't work, and I don't want to baby sit my combustion engines all day long. I couldn't seem to get redstone engines to apply any power at all (they wern't even pumping) my quarry. Can I use Big Reactors or something to power my quarry? I'd really appreciate this, thanks.
  7. Title: Buildcraft Pump not extending Version: 3.1.2 OS: Windows 7 Java Version: dunno Description of Problem: I have a BC pump above a volcano. It was working fine until it hit some Obsidian. I mined that out so there's only lava underneath, but now the unsolid pipe wont extend down a few layers to pump it out. I've tried replacing it and even built a new one but it still won't work. It's powered by 4 redstone engines if that matters. Error Messages: Error Log:
