  1. I just made a post over at mikes githhub page concerning the colors of the items made via handsaw. I'd be so happy if dynmap starts supporting at least the custom half slabs. :3
  2. Erhm. I am very confused here. In my entire server folder, I have no file named "ItemBlock.class" - I don't have folders named "net", "minecraft" or "server" either. My root folder has (in addition to my world folders): /buildcraft /config /jar /mods /plugins /redpower To make sure that I didn't screw up while uploading stuff I checked the original Tekkit server pack I downloaded and added to initially - those folders or that file aren't there either. Halp. =(
  3. I just tried getting terrain control started with tekkit, however I can't even get it to load correctly. Which version are you using and where are you putting the .jar in your folder? =S
  4. Actually I think the problem with EE isn't even the "free stuff". You can achieve just the same with farms etc. The problem I have with EE is that it completely ruins the purpose of farms and therefore all other mods in the game. One item of food/wood/cactii/glass/stone/WHATEVER = unlimited supply of them. That is what is broken with EE. If I could make changes to EE, I'd allow Admins to decide which items can be created via transmutation and which can't. Also I'd add in a certain "EMC tax" - each transmutation should cost you EMC in the long run.
  5. Hey there, I recently made a 2.1.1 Tekkit server and now ran into the problem that LV/MV/HV solar panels don't seem to exist on my server. Spawning them via NEI nets "No such item", if I try the block id via WorldEdit it results in "Block name '187' was not recognized" and if clients try to craft them their minecraft crashes and they have double the solar panels afterwards. My problem: I am 100% sure the error is on my side (the host I'm at uploaded the configs and I had some errors in my plugins folder afterwards that I fixed manually) but I have no idea where to look for it. Plugins I'm running: ChatManager, ChopTree, CommandBook, dynmap, Essentials, HawkEye, Modifyworld, Multiverse-Core, NoLagg, PermissionsEx, ReceipeManager, WorldBorder, WorldEdit, WorldGuard. I found this in my .cfgs which strikes me as odd: /config/IC2CompactSolars.cfg reads: general { guiHVSolarArray=77 guiLVSolarArray=75 guiMVSolarArray=76 } While my /jar/config/IC2CompactSolars.cfg reads: general { guiHVSolarArray=47 guiLVSolarArray=45 guiMVSolarArray=46 } The entire /jar folder was uploaded by my host, this specific file e.g. says it was "Generated on 3/5/12 12:53 AM" ... did he upload some stuff that was from an old version with old IDs? If yes, do I only have to change the numbers to 77/76/75? Are there any other files in this jar/cfg/ folder where I have to check for similar stuff? Would appreciate some help about this. Thanks. <3
  6. /config/ModLoader.cfg turn mod_EE=on into mod_EE=off. Done! If any EE blocks/items were present on your map and you start it with this configuration they will be removed. Another way of just removing some items would be either via permissions or via the file "mod_EE.props" in your server directory. Can directly edit most of the stuff out there via "=1" --> "=0"
  7. I built a new map last night and... it was imo easier (and more fun!) to spend an hour finding a cool looking seed than edit a generated map manually. =P If you want a highly edited map for one reason or another you can generate your map and then add oil pits/fountains+rubertrees manually via WorldEdit/creative mode. No need to resort to a central oil pit and giving people stuff.
  8. Minecraft could be 1.6 and I'd still be happy about Tekkit for 1.1 and play that. Why? Because 1.6 Vanilla will still have less features and possibilities than Tekkit for 1.1 These mods combined added more to Minecraft than Mojang in the last year, there is literally no reason to bitch at them because you want... Ocelots? Srsly? =P AND THATS FROM A CAT LOVER. :3
  9. The armor stuff is highly annoying for me as well. RM/DM Armor have no damage reduction at all. Nano/Quantum Armor make you completely invulnerable. For Ages. You can literally be shot for an hour and then your charge is at like 90%. My suggestion would be to set both Nano/RM armor to 80% damage reduction (in the Nano case the the charge/damage to charge has to be adjusted) and the same stuff for Quantum/DM, just with 90%. In any case being completely absolutely immune to damage for weeks with Nano/Quantum is overpowered in a stupid kind of way.
  10. So... just for clarification, there is no single map / terrain generator out there who fully supports Tekkit at the moment? aka Ores, Oil, Rubbertrees; - the full deal? fml. vanilla maps so... flat. =S
