  1. A lot of us were disappointed. We worked for 3 days to make rockets and then we get to space and were stumped to see only a moon after watch Yogcrap.
  2. Clients would have to likely clear game folder and start with fresh to input the zip for the teklite. Problems can arise. and as far as the video youtube compressed it making the quality crap for video and my mic is isn't the best for the audio. I'll try again in the future if their is enough requests but its seems people don't really care about merging the two they just go for one or the other for server simplicity and to negate client modding to connect. I am working on a new build zip that merges the two but adjusting item id's to work is hard, and some items end up merged or over writing others. But it does function for the most part.
  3. There should be a Voltz.jar which has minecraft server files built into it. in the case of you should be able to inject or upload the voltz.jar and the 3 folders that come with it, into your Minecraft folder via SFTP with a standard ftp client. I assume the hosting service gave you a login and password for this so just use that to access it. See mcmyadmin should have a Minecraft folder in it that holds the .jar for the server and any other files such as mods, plugins and such. Now either before or after injecting the Voltz.jar rename it to ForgeMod.jar make sure its exact as its case sensitive and in mcmyadmin panel under configuraton and change server type to Forgemod and then start the server and it should run Voltz in mcmyadmin/.
  4. As promised guys i finally got a youtube tutorial up for you guys, its my first online video hope it helps you guys and is informative - I instruct you on how to setup and install a linux OS for installing Voltz + Tekkit-lite + McMyAdmin + Bukkit via BukkitForge --> Let me know what you guys think on my youtube channel,
  5. So i put together scraps of computer to do a youtube video everything was working great about 75% done 45mins in and the computer locked up and restarted,,, it only had 2 gigs of ram while running both client and server i realize that was stupid but i was trying to work with what i had, video lost, new equipment will be here either by weekend or after this weekend, so i will be making the video from scratch again, and hopefully people won't dog me too much when its finished as it will be my first video publish to the net I'm excited to show you all how to do this, so it might be 6 days but you have all waited this long and with the recent upset of 1.0.8 volts i will be using 1.0.7 in my tutorial of server setup and merging with tekkit-lite and integration of BukkitForge,,, I have generously donated to this Project which has potential and promise. When i post the Video it will be in its own forum topic but for now waiting on parts shipment to do this wasn't cheap but it will allow me to enlighten a lot of Admins i hope. bye for now
  6. In a week when i get my small video publishing computer shipped, i will post a video on how to merge voltz with tekkit-lite and host the server and you the server host can provide your users with a custom zip for them to connect to it.
  7. version 1.0.7 link --> http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic/servers/voltz/Voltz_Server_v1.0.7.zip version 1.0.6 link --> http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic/servers/voltz/Voltz_Server_v1.0.6.zip Use these links if you need to downgrade your server but i recommend backing up your world file and starting fresh then copying your world file over after deleting the fresh one. Hope this Info helps all you miners.
  8. I'm so happy, i have successfully after 17hrs got voltz integrated into mcmyadmin, got BukkitForge integrated into that with you essentials port, plus through groupmanager i can simply control groups and permission nodes via mcmyadmins web gui which i am completely reliant on for perms,,, i couldn't get the port of permissionsEX to work with it though thus falling back to groupmanager via trial and error. After all that i then focused on my players demands for tekkit to be merged with voltz which after 4hrs i was able to do but it was sloppy copys not using the new custom zip option. However i am confident now that i can adapt the clients with custom mod zip. I am in the works now of making a vidoe i will post on youtube explaining to new people or the unknowledgeable how to do this. I did it all in linux, but if your serious about dedicated serving that shouldn't be a problem. I will post link to video when its complete. Thanks to the supporters of BukkitForge, you now have my support :)
  9. Thank you for this Information, I will be working on a video tutorial now and will post it after a few days of testing, but so far this looks very promising for replacing the old ForgeBukkit with this nifty new BukkitForge! hehehe,, If this all works well i am definitely donating to BukkitForge development.
  10. Open in Linux Terminal 1st. open terminal if bat file is in home directory 2nd. cd /home/[whatever username] 3rd. sh launch.bat example mine is in a folder labeled Voltz_Server_v1.0.7 open termial application cd /home/[username]/Voltz_Server_v1.0.7 sh launch.bat
  11. Personally after testing ForgeEssentials I felt like it didn't really provide much support as most of its wiki was blank, or hadn't been written in the important sections like permissions and such, Truthfully i had thought about doing going back to vanilla just for Bukkit support, at this point I believe ForgeEssentials needs more programmers and user support like the Bukkit project currently has to become useful. I have a few liscenses to McMyAdmin and am currently trying to tie Voltz into it and if that's successful maybe try getting latest Bukkit working on it. However i know nothing about programming, and i am not even sure what I'm doing to be honest, but if i somehow am able to pull it off rest assure i will post a video tutorial on how i did it. Keep mining the great mine guys and gals,
