I solved the problem by deleting any existing hexxit folder in the .technic folder. It works fine now -

The server is not working. When i try to connect to the server, the server console says end of stream and the client shows a screen with messages that Forge Mod Loader has found ID mismatches. from mod BetterDungeons. The ID's are in the 8250 to 8280 range. -
I really miss frame motors, and being able to move frames/blocks. Is there something similar now in tekkit?

I have the same problem. Let me guess, you used MCEDIT to import structures from your old tekkit server. MCEDIT is not fully compatible yet with Tekkit Lite and will replace certain ores with Turtle's in the area where you imported your structure. Whenever i go near my imported building i get a FPS drop.
