  1. This is a completely random post, but I just had to share it.

I was playing around and learning stuff in creative, when I found this abomination:

    FCbD0WR.png

That's right, an infernal skeleton riding a blue slime, LOL.

  2. The Vile Sword is removed, but u can still get the Soul Stealer enchantment on pretty much any type of sword. Not sure if this is bug, or intended but it works (not only with Enchanting plus, I got it once on a book using vanilla enchanting).

  3. Since the BD updated to 1.5.2 I, literally, wasn't able to find a single slime. I'm currently playing a second world since update and it's still the same. I've read somewhere that slime spawns are now affected by moon phases and, apparently, they are most common in new moon. So, I've searched over 10 different swamps in my world during this and neighbouring phases and still nothing. However, there seems to be plenty of those annoying Tinker's Construct's blue slimes literally everywhere which makes me think it's somewhat responsible. Can someone confirm or deny that? Also, whatever help in finding those basterds I might get will be usefull.

  4. I'm having weird issues with EnderTanks. The switch can be interacted with only if the tank is facing south. Facing any other direction, it is simply unlickable. Also, the color coders are somehow reversed. When I right click with the dye on far left one, the far right one changes color. This can be srsly confusing.

  5. Do you have optifine installed?
I do, and removing it actually fixed the issue... Silly me for not thinking about that before D:

However, i cant rly imagine playing w/o optifine (not sure if I rly need it or is it just a habit at this point ;p), so I'll either try with different versions or just live with these weird textures ;/

  6. I can't repro this, and speaking with Machine Muse, she said that this was a problem that occurred for people without forge 712+. So, do me two things:

    - What is your graphics card/adapter? Full name and model- you can find it in the display tab of dxdiag.exe if you have windows.

    - Go to the main menu and read me off the forge and FML version from the bottom left.

The video card is Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 and Forge/FML versions are as follows: FML v5.2.19.723, Minecraft Forge 7.8.0.723

  7. My textures for Modular Power Suit are freaking out (screenshots). This happens whether I am using custom texture pack (1st screenshot) or not (2nd screenshot).

With Sphax textures (they are incomplete, btw):

    With default textures:

It is quite annoying, especially when I want to change my keybindings but all the modules' icons look like weird blurry white somethings.

  8. Is there a replacement for the mass fabricator? Something that requires endless energy and even in big dig, makes you want more and more and more power? Something that gives you tons of flexibility, like making 1000 glowstone blocks, if you decide you need them bad enough?

Try building the Large Hadron Collider :D Building one of decent size takes a lot of resources (wool! u can never have enough of wool for this) and running it long enough to get yourself enough antimatter requires quite a lot of power.

Plus, it looks and SOUNDS awesome :D

  9. Its kinda sad, since IC2 was always there. And it's such a huge mod with all its addons and such... :/ But, tbh, almost all of its machines have somekind of replacement in TE. Im gonna miss the nuclear reactors though :P As for RP2, thats the wors part, since there is no real replacement for that. Sure there is that rednet thing in MFR, but u cant hide its cables in such a cool way (or is there something I dont know of?) and such. And, I guess, we will never know what uses were planned for that damned tungsten ore XD

  10. I've been trying to pulverize tons of these ores in creative mode to check this and not a single time have I gotten anything extra, so Im assuming it's not working at all. As for "fixing" this, I found an option to disable ore generation in metallurgy config files, so that should solve it (in new chunks that is, so maybe in another world ;p). Thx for the help.

  11. Apparently, the mentioned ores that spawn in the world, all come from the Metallurgy mod and that makes them "not-so-compatible" with Thermal Expansion's pulverizer. Which means, when I pulverize them, there's no chance whatsowever they will produce bonus resources, which kinda bugs me. I know there's plenty of these ores in the world either way, but I rly like the bonus resources feature in TE and I'd like to keep it working. So, is there anyway to make the Merallurgy ores work properly with pulverizer, or simply swapping them in world gen with TE ones?

  12. The latest Optifine version seems to work at first, but there's just plenty of bugs. Pressure plate won't open doors (there's the door opening and closing sound, but they stay closed), when I "grab" water (with water cells, for example) from underneath the surface, it seems to create water bubbles with air in it, however I still drown if I stay inside them (even though there's no air meter). So, I'd say, there's no working (or at least stable) version of Optifine that works with 0.5.7, so Im still using 0.5.2 ;/
