  1. While the new Tekkit is fun in my opinion, I have to agree that nothing beats Classic.
  2. ...Wow. Galacticraft is, like, epic. Way more so than it was when I first played with it.
  3. I'm pretty excited, seeing as there aren't any (good) 1.5 modpacks out there. One question: Is RP2 being permanently removed, or will it be added in when it updates to 1.5.1?
  4. So you mean, for example, rather than http://technicpack.net/api/modpack/blabla, I would use http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/blala? Somehow, this isn't working for me. It's possible that I'm just stupid, because it seems it's working for everyone else. Any help? EDIT: Your solution works on build 195 of the launcher, but not 198. Eh, I'll live without the latest build. Thanks.
  5. Mediafire works, you just need to grab the direct "wget" link. This is done by navigating to your file on Mediafire (finding the page with the green download button), right clicking the download button, and selecting "copy URL" or the like. This URL can be used with the Platform.
  6. My modpack has been on the Platform for a few days. It's worked fine up until today, when upon trying to update the description, I clicked save and it came up with "You must provide a valid link to your custom zip." I'm using Dropbox to host my file. I got the error only after adding a mod to the mods folder and updating the zip. And yes, I've confirmed that I am giving it the correct URL to the updated zip. Any help?
  7. Try updating your launcher. You're on a significantly older version.
  8. There isn't supposed to be a quit button. They removed it to make the menu look nicer. You can still exit the game using the red x on the top left.
  9. Launcher Version: 1.1.1.0 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.7.4, 64-bit Java Version: Java 6, 64-bit Antivirus Program: Description of Problem: I created a folder with mods, coremods, config, and bin. They all had their appropriate contents. Bin had its modpack.jar. I zipped everything up and hosted it on Dropbox. Upon giving Technic Launcher the dl.dropbox link, it downloaded and ran everything fine, only for me to find that the mods, coremods, and config didn't transfer. Bin transferred fine, including modpack.jar (and the in-game "Mods" screen did have all the mods I included in modpack.jar), but nothing else did. Error Messages: Error Log:
