are you using mc 1.5? i think code chicken core is causing your problem. the latest version is causing mc to pause at the mojang screen for me too. otherwise, everything else looks fine.

Did you mean to put the download link in your post, because I don't see it Edit: Thanks! Edit 2: I've already noticed a problem, the link you are using brings you to a page with the download button. Make sure when you compress your modpack that you select the 4 folders (bin, mods, coremods, and config) and select compress, and not compress the folder that the 4 folders are in.

MAKE SURE THE LINK YOU ARE USING IS AN AUTOMATIC DOWNLOAD, AND NOT A LINK TO THE PAGE WITH THE DOWNLOAD BUTTON!!!!! Check the bottom of page 2 for my post on how to get a automatic download link. Also, I saw that you use google to host your file. I tried this and it doesn't work. You should use Dropbox.

Make sure the root of the zip is your mod folders, and not another folder. This is a very common error in making modpacks. Make sure you select the 4 folders (bin,config,coremods,and mods) and compress them, and not compress the folder that the modpack folders are in.

Make sure your using an automatic download and not a page with the download button for the link. That's why it's not creating a log.(I think) If you need help with automatic downloads, then look at the bottom of page 2 in this thread. It should help. If you need a place to download your modpack, then use Dropbox. It's fast,free, and works great.

For those of you who are having a problem where the launcher doesn't download your pack, look at the bottom of page two on this discussion for my post. It should help!

Your modpack.jar is named modpack.jar.jar

make sure the mod folders are at the root of the zip, and not another folder: you dont want this: this will create a folder when platform unzips your modpack. omg thank you so much. it finally works!!!!!!! heres my modpack: http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/factory-craft heres my new modpack, Explosivescraft: http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/explosives-craft For those of you who find that Platform isn't downloading you pack: Dropbox users: You no longer need a public folder anymore! Just place your modpack in the dropbox folder, and right-click to select share link. This will open your browser to something that will look like this: You want to right click the download button and then click copy link: Then this wil be the link that you put in the platform modpack location: For Mediafire, you want to do the same thing: right click the green download button and click copy link (correct me if im wrong, i dont use Mediafire)

I have 3 mods in my core mods folder and at least 10 in the mods folder.it still doesn't work

it seems like this was a new feature added to dropbox. you no longer have a public folder. do you know any other places to host the modpack that work?

it seems like platform doesnt even download my modpack heres the link to my modpack. i plan on making an explosives modpack, but i cant do that intill i figure out whats wrong. i put my modpack on dropbox, i dont know if this is a problem https://www.dropbox.com/s/jn5y6egu3vpzmto/Factorycraft.zip?m
