I apologize if this has already been resolved but I have not found a fix. With every custom mod i try to download, i manage to get it into my launcher but when i run it, it says "Error downloading file for the following pack: (Pack name here) Failed to download (Packs URL here) Please consult the modpack author" If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Jesus Christ... One of the goals of someone who makes a virus is to make money. The virus that your friend got just tricked him into paying it $200 dollars to it. My school has the same EXACT virus (Or a version of it claiming it was the FBI and if you wanted to continue using the computer you have to pay for the pirated content) Tell your friend he is an idiot and to call his bank and refund or cancel the transaction. Ya numbskull.

So has anyone found a permanent fix? Or is this just going to have to wait until the technic team figure it out? My launcher isn't even letting me access the main packs...
