OK I MANAGED TO FIX IT! I WENT INTO THE SETTINGS, AND APPLIED MORE RAM(2GB) TO IT, AND CLICKING INCREASE PERMGEN SIZE, AND THEN CLICKED APPLY, SO IT RESTARTED THE CLIENT, AND IT WORKED!!!! :D

Launcher Version: 221 Operating System: Windows 8 Intel Core I7 8gb Ram 1TB Hard Drive Nvidia Geforce GT630M Graphics Java Version: Java 7 Update 17 Antivirus Program: Kaspersky 2013 Description of Problem: When I open up my technic launcher, I do not get any of the default modpacks to load up, and if I click, it would just spam the whole section with add a new modpack, and if I try to add one it still would not let me. I tried downloading my brothers .technic folder and opening up one and it would not let me connect to minecraft.net. I have tried adding this to trusted in my kaspersky antivirus, tried reinstalling, tried updating java, tried restarting PC and still it will not work. Please somebody help.
