Lol!! A friend of mine accidentally picked up a Mystcraft book and we got him back so you are no problem!! If this is a single player game then try a TPX command. I'm sure you want a non cheaty option but I'm pretty sure you are stuck. Try the Dimensional Doors wiki for a fix (that is the mod you are stuck in) But I'm pretty sure the 'TPX [playername] [1]' console command should work.

Take out the item detector token from the programmable filter. You need a mob token and a redstone token(if you want to turn it on or off)leading into an INTERSECTION token in the next column. If you want the coil to pick up items you will need a loot collector and a seperate programmable filter (this will help with maintenance and re-arrangement as you do not want to take down the filter whilst the coil has power and you don't want to disconnect and get creepers everywhere!!)

The most elegant, space-saving and simple solution to your water pump problems would be Liquid Tesseracts connected to Aqueous Accumulators. Place the Accumulator in the centre of a 3x3x1 hole filled with water with the tesseract connected on top of it. You can have one tesseract outputting to all other tesseracts. However to be truly explosion proof you would want one tesseract on each engine feeding them water. This way you avoid the need for pipes and extra things that can go wrong.

We get this in our world too. It's just bad luck. I'm an op so if I'm online it's /toggledownfall all the way. The rain lags most people out and is so loud that it interferes with our comms so I get rid straight away. Another thing you can do is install Optifine and disable rain and the animations for it and you will not even know when it is raining, you will be strutting around in your shorts and flip flops whilst your server mates are dripping and miserable!
