but trust me I have tried about everything. being a computing technician myself, I don't know why it doesn't work... but I have a few hunches a to why

I have the same problem, my voltz launcher loads minecraft.jar 2 times and on the third, when it reaches 98%-99% it comes up with the message "update failed". it used to work on my computer, but the first update that came out caused it to do this. I have tried EVERYTHING. I will leave voltz behind(I am an admin on 2 servers) if this is not dealt with very shortly
