  1. I'm probably missing something really obvious in either the documentation or the launcher window itself, but how do I pass commandline arguments to java when launching through the technic launcher? I want to experiment with commandline parameters for garbage collection, and while adjusting the server's launch.bat is easy enough, the options in the launcher only allow changing of maximum heap size and have a binary larger permgen toggle. For the sake of experimentation, I want to launch the client with something like "-XX:+DisableExplicitGC -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=25 -XX:InitiatingHeapOccupancyPercent=75 -XX:MaxTenuringThreshold=4". Where do I do this in the launcher? If that's not possible, how do I have to format a .bat file to launch the game in the technic format?
  2. The Plasma cannon will not show up if you are on the recommended version of Voltz. Change to 1.1.4 and it will be in the tinker table.
  3. You can also set AE to maintain a minimum level of certain crafting components. That way the machines spend more time being busy when you're not crafting anything to restore the buffer, but you have everything needed for crafting immediately on hand when you do order something.
  4. Relevant is the version of the Tekkit pack, not of Minecraft. All versions of the new Tekkit so far are for 1.5.1. If you're using the recommended build, you are using Tekkit 1.0.6. Could you post the actual error message?
  5. Just copy the URL of the server download, then change the version numbers to the one you want. All the builds up to latest should be in there, afaik. I use 1.1.4 myself, and a -lot- was added to powersuits since the version that is in 1.0.11.
  6. Make sure you try updating to 1.0.6. That fixed a horrendous bandwidth problem with Buildcraft in 1.0.5.
