Every time I download a mod pack the technic launcher freezes my computer to the point where the mouse doesn't move. It also takes 2 minutes to download just one file, when I download something it starts out fast then goes slower and slower. Does anybody have a fix or some sort for this?

Weird you can name the zip whatever you want it just the jar in the bin folder has to be called modpack.jar or it won't download it.

I have the same problem I can't even download the mod packs, how do I get back to the old launcher I hate this one.

This is my first build mod pack I usually make RPG and adventure mod packs. I need help with finding mods for building. The mods must be SMP. The only mods that I know so far for building would be the little blocks mod.
