  1. I had the exact same problem. The issue is due to the fact that BukkitForge follows vanilla convention of putting all worlds in one folder, whereas MCPC+ follows Bukkit convention of putting each world in a separate folder. So with BF, I had every world including overworld, nether, MystCraft ages, and pocket dimensions inside the same folder. When I installed MCPC+ it moved all the worlds except MystCraft ages and pocket dims into separate folders (world_myst and world_pocketprovider respectively) which I had to move manually after finding out all worlds had apparently been "reset".

What I had to do to fix homes was go into each player's file (if you're using Essentials for homes, these files are located in Essentials/userdata) and change the world name under the home category. I had to do the same for WorldGuard regions and Grief Prevention protections, both of which conveniently save data in text files. LWC uses SQLite databases so you need this tool to edit the database and change the world name for all protections.

This is great, I've tried everything you've said on my test server and it works. Thanks a million.

  2. Due to being woefully uneducated in the matter back in May when I set up my Tekkit server, my main server is currently using Bukkitforge to handle plugins. I now know that to avoid headaches with both the current build and future recommended builds of Tekkit I need to switch to MCPC+, so I tried out the switch earlier on with some unfortunate side effects. All of the installed plugins still worked, but all spawn and home data was lost/unusable which meant everybody on my server would have to /sethome again. All of the LWC protections were also wiped and many of the protections I'd entered in the config no longer worked. The syntax of the config file remained identical (no corruption) yet some of the protections like AE blocks and MFR machines just wouldn't work whilst others would. So basically I'm wondering if anyone has any idea how to preserve all of my current plugin settings when switching from Bukkitforge to MCPC+? All ideas welcome.

  3. Maybe I should clear things up and point out that I was parodying the OP's own words for comedic effect. I fully understand and appreciate how TE works and I'm definitely not on the IC2 apologist's bandwagon.

  4. So after managing to get Tekkit 1.1.0 working I've been playing around with it in singleplayer and noticed a new mineral has been introduced in the form of Mekanism's Osmium. As a server admin the first thing that occurred to me was how this was going to be managed in the update for servers updating from 1.0.6 to 1.1.0. Will osmium ore only be spawned in new chunks? This would be a pretty big problem for me since my server has been explored rather extensively in both the overworld and the nether (upwards of 15Km in all directions from spawn). I was just wondering if anybody with experience in Mekanism could confirm how this is likely to work.

  5. The precision export bus doesn't appear to operate in a "round robin" way, rather, it will output the first item in the hotbar until that item is depleted. The best way I have found to keep all bioreactor materials topped up evenly is to set up DSU's for the individual items with sender item tesseracts that feed into a single receiver tesseract next to the bioreactor. You can keep a buffer of bioreactor materials by having your harvesters feed into your ME system and then having precision export buses set up with level emitters to feed into the DSU when the ME inventory is only above a set amount. This setup is certainly end-game but it's the most reliable method I've found.

  6. It's Cool Can Only Do That In Creative Mode :D

    PS:Im Watching You

What makes you think that that kind of build could only be possible in creative? The barriers to building on the moon are easily overcome once the solutions are understood and nothing in those images seems impossible. Impressive yes, impossible, no.

  7. I've never bothered with phased pipes but general opinion seems to be that liquid tesseracts are more dependable, more flexible and most people's preferred choice for "teleporting" liquids. You also might want to make sure that both areas are chunkloaded if the send tesseract is far away from the receive tesseract.

  8. Wheat isn't the best thing to start off with because the bioreactor can only accept the seeds, not the wheat itself, and the seed yield is crap compared to other crop yields. The best and simplest things to start off with are potatoes and carrots, with those you only have to worry about splitting the output between your planter and your reactor.

  9. I tried starting it off like you said but that didn't work, the second and third items depleted in the Reactor but only the first item was replenished. I think I understand what you said about the way the Precision Bus functions and it seems that it's probably not the most ideal pipe for my needs. I've settled for using three Basic Export Buses which seems to do what I need. Thanks for your help though.
