  1. Woo, a server where the host is on vacation so the whole server's down, there are 300 rules and tons of banned items, and this is the first time I've seen sexism in a minecraft server description. Nice.
  2. Oh cheers, haven't checked this for a while. And I doubt they'd implement it into Tekkit or Technic since it crashes some people's computers, the average person's will lag to death with it, and only high-end PCs can handle it.
  3. Yeah it'd be good if it was implemented (optionally). But is there a way to get it without having to wait?
  4. Hey everyone! Came to ask if it's possible, and if so how, to install GLSL Shaders or Sonic Ether's Unbelievable Shaders mods. They are both about improving the Minecraft graphics and have awesome things like dynamic shadows; I've attempted to install both onto Tekkit with no success as the minecraft.jar of Tekkit doesn't even have a shaders folder. Adding one in was just being ignored by the game. I'd be grateful if someone could spend some time looking into how to do this, shaders make the game ten times better. Honest. Thanks!
  5. Yeah I double checked, all was fine unless I'm damn blind. I've been using "/permissions" reload and just "/reload" plenty of times with no result - and I spent about 20 minutes browsing the Technic forums to check if anyone else had the same problem with me and I had no results; none that I found. So yeah, basically unless someone is actually Op, they can't use some commands like /kick even if I give their group the permissions. Really annoying!
  6. Launcher/pack Version: Tekkit v2.1.1 (latest) Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit Version of Java: v7 64-bit Description of Problem: The more moderator-suited commands such as /kick, /god and /heal aren't available unless to anyone who isn't an actual op (using the /op command). Even if their group has the permission, they can't use them without being op. The commands which can't be used are still shown in /help, well some are, some are just left out entirely despite having the permission. Some less moderator-suited commands, like /getpos, still show up in help and work fine. Error Messages: N/A (none) Link to pastebin of log: N/A (won't be needed, already checked it) So as I've already said, half of the permissions just don't want to work, even if they are set to true in their designated group. However, physically giving a person that permission (for instance, 'essentials.kick') will allow them to use the associated command. I've got very few plugins, so I triple checked each of the plugin config files to see if they were noticeably affecting the permissions. I'm 99% certain that they aren't. After hours of figuring this out, I'm now just posting on the forums to see if anyone else can fix this. I'm quite good with this sort of stuff, so I'll be impressed if anyone can fix it without some deep concentration. Anyway, someone please help, this is a real pain and is putting a complete halt to getting my server live, as I've promised a few people. If you need any config settings or log files, just ask and I will upload them to this post hopefully quite fast. Thank you!
