  1. Is your host using Java 7?
  2. But MOM, why won't you STEAL THE MOD, that I WANT? UGGGGGH.
  3. I would double check to make sure the batbox is storing, and putting out energy then. The wire going to the engines, is it attached to the three-dot side of the bat box?
  4. Those look like electric engines. They need to be hooked up to an IC2 generator of some kind, be it normal, solar, water, geothermal...you get the point.
  5. I found your problem.
  6. You're using a high end texture pack that eats up ram, and you get out of ram errors? Huh, MUST BE TEKKIT!
  7. *I am going to sound like a huge dick below* No you can't. You can't guarantee anything. It is posted clearly that AVG can cause issues and frequently does. AVG may have "treated you good" to your knowledge, but many people, some very professional in the realm of "computers", have stated it's an abysmal pile of crap. Uninstall AVG, install MSE. Your computer will be that much safer, and even if it doesn't fix your Tekkit problem, you'll be happy when three months from now that random porn site doesn't destroy your computer.
  8. Good question! I'd like to know the answer to this one myself. Maybe you can read the stickies, and when you get off probation, make a proper thread so we can all find out the answer! http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,2797.0.html I'll be on the edge of my seat in suspense until then!
  9. Thank you for telling him how to uninstall shitty AV's. The above is true, if you're using any of those AV's, uninstall them and switch to Microsoft Security Essentials. It's pretty much the best out right now anyway.
  10. WorldEdit doesn't protect region. Whoever is running the server: ask them (or well, yourself) if they changed any of the IC2 configs. Also make have them make sure IC2 has the wrench set to itemToolWrench=29927 in the config. Changing that can screw it up if it's put to the wrong number.
  11. Are you sure it's an IC2 machine? The wrench won't work on BC/RP2 items. Also, check to see if the server you're on has any kind of world block protection mods. If you're in a protected area, you more than likely can't remove machines.
  12. Just a shot in the dark here, but try running it with your firewall turned off?
  13. I'm not 100% sure on this, but the same thing happens to the regular minecraft launcher when minecraft.net is down/having issues. Try it again in an hour or so and see if the same problem occurs.

    crash?

Doing a quick google search of your pastebin (specifically: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.NoSuchFieldException: foamed) I found these two threads: http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php?topic=8295.0 http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php?topic=2919.0 Which are similar in nature. How many different servers have you attempted to connect to? If it's just one, it may be possible that they have a corrupt chunk.
  15. That's a server log, not a "cannot connect to server error". Technicalities aside, it looks like you put some recipes in RecipeManager and didn't use the correct syntax so they won't load. Your server should still work, just not those recipes. Open up your RecipesManager file and edit those recipes listed and they should be fine. Ignore the thing about spoutcraft.

    crash?

Oh the problem is apparent right from the wealth of information in your post. It's:
  17. THX is a video company. I for one, refuse to accept internet acronyms for anything. but thx 4 pointng tht out bro =D
  18. Technic doesn't make the mods, they only load them up. Those are all server issues that should be handled server side by the administrators of that server, not by the technic pack creators.
  19. Do you have mcMMO as a bukkit plugin on your server? I've noticed that some of the double drop items you can get from that mod don't stack. With the nether ores, are you sure they aren't the fake "Nether Tin" ores you get when you mine one of the exploding ores? If it says "nether tin" and it won't stack, it most likely is one of those exploding ores. To make sure, try to smelt it in a furnace. If it won't smelt, it's a junk ore.
  20. First off: You don't need spout. You only need spout for custom fuels in recipe manager. Everything else works fine without spout. Secondly: You're probably using the wrong version of spout. Get the right version for the version of bukkit in tekkit and then it'll stop yelling at you. It's pretty simple. Match version numbers.
  21. Launcher/pack Version: Tekkit 1.0.1.2 (I just redownloaded everything to see if it somehow corrupted or something) Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit Version of Java: Java 7, 64 bit Description of Problem: Immediately upon logging in, the game crashes before there's even a mojang screen with the error below: Error Messages: Mods loaded: 1 ModLoader 1.1 Minecraft has crashed! ---------------------- Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem. I also installed a fresh copy of Java 7 just to make sure it wasn't a problem with java, and had no luck. I don't use AVG or Norton (windows security). EDIT: I don't understand why, or how, but after I rebooted my computer, it works fine now. That's odd to say the least.
