  1. HELLO!!! I'm goreae and I present you with Teh Kits (horrible pun, I know.), a collection of kits for playing survival maps with tekkit, or just to give you a little head start in the game. Below is a list of the kits and their purpose:

    the color is the color ender chest for the kit. for example, the mod ore kit is gray-gray-gray

    WHITE - Kit Kit: Allows you to take the ender pouches for the other kits out of the white bag.

    GRAY - Mod Ores: contains all the ores added by mods.

    GREEN - Agriculture Kit: Contains any and all farmable materials, modded or not.

    BLACK - Exchanging Kit: contains the items required to begin alchemy with Equivalent Exchange.

    BROWN - Vanilla Kit: contains various blocks and items to be taught to the transmutation tablet.

    LIME - Mob Kit: contains spawn eggs (and regular eggs) so you can start farming any animal you wish.

    YELLOW - Scrapper Kit: contains everything you need (when used with vanilla and agriculture kits) to make almost any item in the game! ( you can make a mass fabricator with that stuff! ;D)

    What you use from each kit is up to you. for example, you can use the mob kit, but only use chicken eggs and transmute to any other creature you might want. have fun playing those vanilla maps with some of the most awesome mods out there!

  2. Im having a HUGE Problem Almost nothing Will Spawn Only a Couple Of Blocks and Floating levers Lava And Water But In The Ship Its Just Obsidian And signs.HALP

    sounds like either the wrong tekkit version, or tekkit derped whilst updating and didn't install correctly. try deleting the bin folder in the tekkit folder and re-installing.

  3. What about the code that binds it to a launcher, plus you clearly like him because how else would you know that

    uh, I don't watch nearbygamer, but the code that binds it to the launcher causes no lag. all the launcher does is download modpacks, allow you to allocate more memory, and it merges the modpack.jar and minecraft.jar upon startup. if regular modloader .zip or .jar files in the mods folder don't cause any aditional lag, then there is no reason for the launcher to. millienaire and better dungeons are known to be resource demanding.

  4. For some reason, when I start up a modpack after having configured it (like rei minimap keys or adding in mods) the launcher says there is an update that there really isn't. It is annoying to see every time I start it up and if I do update, my configs/plugins get erased. is there some way to fix this?

  5. Seed: Technic

    I spawned on a volcano with a millienaire farmer, the volcano is in a forest with a small grove of rubber trees in plain sight, there are pumpkins nearby, and I found a village walking around, in a plains biome dotted with caves. there are also a few oil wells and another volcano.

  6. okay, I figured out how. I would post this elsewhere, but I only want to tell people here.

    1. download the newest optifine standard for 1.1

    2. open modpack.jar

    3. delete wrupdatestate.class

    4. drag and drop all files in the optifine zip into modpack.jar.

    I tested it, and I found my transmutation tablets, the village has roofs, and my macerator is in plain sight. thanks for your help!

  7. for some reason, pretty much all modded in blocks (not entities) are invisible in your map. not anywhere else, just your map. I use the recommended build (6.07) with no add-ons. (I use treecapitator when playing tekkit, should already be there IMO.) If you know what the issue is, please fix it as the map becomes pretty much unplayable because I lost my transmutation tablet, there are mysterious unbreakable fence-like blocks that I can't see, and I have to do a scavenger hunt just to find a macerator.
