    Yeah the events are awesome -- my favourites are probably the pokemon battle competitions there are some great prizes, and the competition itself is very fun, and gives another aspect to the game even after you reach end-game

    ​hahaha yeah same, always running out of redstone. Still, you can get a fair bit if you go mining with a fortune III pick

    ​Ooh, awesome. I've heard several people trying to find and kill monkings to get the monking swords, never actually found one myself though. Do they have like a special ability or are they just a really good sword?

    ​Yeah, I can imagine everyone not only fighting the boss but fighting each other for the loot as well

    ​An excavator+hammer combo can be amazing for clearing out massive underground rooms, hammers can break stone easily and the excavator can easily and quickly get rid of all the annoying gravel that falls down.

    Anyone know what the best pickaxe is in Hexxit? At the moment I'm using a mazebreaker, not sure whether it's worth me constructing one using tinkers construct instead--then I'd be able to have modifiers like autosmelt on it, but it wouldn't be quite as easy to repair and possibly not as fast.

    Loving this server -- I've never played pixelmon before, but the staff here are really friendly and helped me out tons.

    Haha, the Ur-ghast towers are one of my favourite dungeons to loot and they take ages if you do it fully I end up going all the way through the tower taking everything, including the reappearing blocks

    Walker dungeons are good too--but I always seem to find more pirate ships than walker castles, and all the pirates are in one place whereas walkers are spread throughout the castle

    Yeah, and sadly they can't be repaired. Still, you can get plenty of electric essence from attacking pirate ships and slaughtering the crew xD

    Electric staffs are awesome for getting around the place fast :D they can help you find dungeons a lot faster than just walking

    Oh awesome, thanks--the Alkahest's really useful, it basically turns trash like cobble and dirt into lapis and redstone.

    What do you guys think is a good way of getting food? I always seem to be on one hunger point hahaha

    Does anyone know a good way of finding redstone? I keep running out when I'm making piston doors and spawner switches

    The creepers are only huggable until you find an infernal vengeance one, hahaha

    ​Yeah could do that, but I've actually managed to find a lot of chickens so far, it's at tier 4 now
