Well it does cost some in-game money to claim land, but the main factor is your factions power. You'll only be able to claim as much land as you have power, and if one of your members dies the power will go down a little for a while, but slowly come back.

Yep, definitely the best Hexxit server in my opinion.

I agree, minecraftalexpro. Hexxit's mods go very well together, and are very fun to experiment with. This server also has an awesome community and fantastic staff. Definitely recommend trying it out!

I personally prefer scale for PvP because it offers more protection than other armours (even rapiers, due to the resistance), but I find thief much better for exploring, as you can run really fast and see in the dark.

Yep, and not only that, each different set has it's own special abilities, making hexical armour probably the best armour in the game. With scale, you get fire resistance, so you can swim in lava without even being hurt or the armour losing durability, tribal gives you a jump boost and night vision, and thief night vision and swiftness.

Found a questing ram in the twilight the other day, they're quite fun, if you feed them one of every colour of wool they'll drop a crumble horn, and several resource blocks.

Charm of life I's bring you back to life with 4 hearts, but destroy the charm in the process. The more upgraded version, Charm of life II, brings you back to life with full hearts and a regeneration effect. They're quite useful in pvp and when taking on hard bosses or dungeons.

TNT had to be disabled so that people cannot raid each other without overclaiming
  11. DigAndDug

    Hexxit

Yep, and the best thing about it, is that it can't be overclaimed, so everything you put in there is safe!
  12. DigAndDug

    Hexxit

Well, so long as you keep your land claimed and your power up, you should be safe!

Hehe, and the twilight also resets to ensure that there are always bosses like Hydras and Nagas to fight to get some good loot

They're probably the best chocobo you can get (except maybe the Purple one), as they can fly

Well, if you manage to get a full suit of scale, you won't have to worry about lava as it gives an infinite fire resistance II effect. Unfortunately you need all 4 pieces on at the same time, or it won't work, which is annoying if you like cloud boots. Lol what I used to do was carry the scale shoes around with me, and if I fell in I'd slip them on quickly before I died

My favourite way to get xp is to use a soul shards grinder, they can be a bit annoying to finish the shards but well worth it. As for travelling, you could ride a chocobo or use thief armour, which lets you run fast.

I guess it depends what you're looking for in the armour, Scale Armour is as good as diamond, but gives infinite Strength, Fire resistance II (swim in lava )and resistance. Tribal Armour gives a jump boost, strength and night vision, which makes it great for exploring dungeons and caves. Thief Armour gives you speed, strength and resistance, so you can travel across terrain quite fast.

Hehe, I was lucky enough to find a moonworm queen in a Twilight Forest hollow hill, and it's really useful! It can place things called moonworms, which act like torches, and it can also charge up and launch these moonworms onto places you couldn't normally reach. Also, it's fairly easy to recharge the durability, as all you need is a few torchberries.

Hehe, I like the rapiers and auto-smelt picks too
  20. Helpful tip when using coal to power furnaces or generators: If you craft a piece of coal on a crafting table with a philosophers stone, you can turn it into 4 charcoal, which makes the same amount of energy per piece.

I love the legia bow hehe. 2-3 arrows in one shot
  22. Glowstone and gold have a ton of EMC, so my favourite way of getting iron and such is to make a trip to the nether and mine lots of gold and glowstone, and come home and chuck it all in the condenser.
  23. Reactors are very fun to play with, and can output a lot of power...but can sometimes be dangerous if you don't set them up right

Hehe, found out something new and interesting the other day be accident. If you shift right click while holding a backpack (works with big ones too!) you'll get an option to re-name it. Makes organizing backpacks in chests much easier, and you don't have to spend the levels to re-name it in an anvil.
