Launcher Version: 342 Operating System: Windows 8.0 64 bit Java Version: 7u45 64 bit Antivirus Program: irrelevant Description of Problem: Fix by Maquadex posted on "Modpacks dont load. just says Add new pack! even the included ones!": Click start Right click on Compter and choose properties In the left column, click Advanced system settings Choose the Advanced tab Click the Environment Variables button Under System variables, click New Set Variable name to _JAVA_OPTIONS Set Variable value to -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true Close all windows you've opened Hope this helps resolve the problem.
