  1. Well, for starters, are you trying to start up a tekkit server, or are you trying to start up a single player instance? I have a lot of experience with the first, but not the second (although I imagine I could probably figure it out if I had to).
  2. Awesome, thanks for the help guys, really appreciate it. That seems like an odd default value for the config file; if I'm interpreting it right, with that value set to false, steam funnels are useless, correct? Also, I can confirm that changing it resolves the issue, and not only do fluiducts not need to be set to pump mode, they don't actually work if they're in pump mode. I had to tear all mine out and set them to default mode, then steam began to flow.
  3. Thanks for the input, jakalth, but unfortunately I've already tried that. I started trying to work on a fusion reactor with fluiducts going to other steam turbines, and I wasn't getting any output whatsoever. I can see plasma being generated, and placing turbines directly over the water gets them to spin, but I can't get steam to pass through the steam funnels with fluiducts in any configuration I've tried. My problem is pretty much exactly the same as AlBme, complete with multi-meter output, and the fact I was using the crescent hammer. I may see if I can get it to work with water-proof pipes. For context, here's the fusion reactor that I started with (Imgur album):
  4. I'm testing out 1.2.1 on a single-player instance in order to start prepping for possibly moving my server over to it once it gets a bit more stabilized, but I'm running into some issues with trying to make a functional fusion/fission reactor with steam funnels, and I was hoping some of you guys might be able to help me out. I'm not posting this in the 1.2.0 thread because I'm not convinced this is necessarily a 1.2.0 problem; it looks like a few people in there have functional steam funnels without issue. The best way to explain the problem is to see the screenshot. I did a very simple fission-reactor example, just to test this as simply as possible. The turbines right above the water at right are spinning just like they should (reactor is on in screenshot). The turbines above the steam funnels at left aren't doing anything. Everything I've been reading has said it should be working. Am I doing something wrong here, or should this be working? Any ideas?
