I found the problem. it was with Thaumic tinkerer build 466. I found a bug report about it through google. I regressed it back to build 162, hoping it's the most stable version. and the pack is able to run again. I'm getting into the habit of adding pack version numbers. I'll focus on editing configs for now. I'll think about updating more of the mods later. thanks for everything!

came up with another crash while updating a handful of the mods, in order of what mods I thought were most important to me. Thank you, Mr. Plow Manplow! I fixed the main issues you listed and my pack is able to run just fine so far! I'll admit I was fairly careless when downloading the mods in the list. I should've taken notes and been more patient. Is there a simpler way to check which of my mods are out of date? I wont ask you to check them all for me, but could you maybe list which mods you noticed were out of date? thanks, Mr. Plow. you're doing great work.

this is my first time creating a pack from scratch instead of editing pre-existing ones. I wanted to have a more streamlined, resource friendly pack that had only the mods I liked in it for me and a friend to play over LAN. evidently I don't really know what I'm doing since I haven't got it to run yet. loving this server so far. will consider donating if donator perks are ever set up. I have a bit of a problem though, I seem to have lost my [Pre-Release] tag when the server updated..
