  1. I have a survival server set up for me and my friends to play on, but I have an issue. For me, NEI doesn't show me how to build the items. It just spawns a stack of items into my inventory when I click on them. I've read the instructions for working with it and they say that I can change it to "Recipie mode" by hitting "E" while in the NEI Options screen. I'm doing that and nothing is happening. I've been all over the place and I simply can't find a way to turn this off. What am I supposed to do to turn this off and just go into recipie mode?

  3. That screenshot is from my SINGLE PLAYER WORLD. Not my server. I'm having this issue with my single player worlds. My single player worlds always end up breaking (Meaning they corrupt if I try to play them) after every update to the mod. I have this single player world backed up and when I log into it, I fall throught the floor and into the void if I select the "load anyway?" option. And it's that way with all my previous single player worlds. This happened to my single player worlds with the previous update as well. The exact same thing. I had to discard those worlds and start new ones and now with this update, it looks like I have to discard another set of worlds and start fresh again. I wanted to know what the heck is going on. All I'm doing is when the Technic Launcher is asking if I want to update the mod, I click "yes". I've tried deleting the mod pack and re-downloading it and it still corrupts the maps so I have no clue what's going on. Does EVERYONE get those errors when using their previous single player worlds when updating the mods or am I the only one? Does everyone just click "Load Anyway" and everything just works?
  4. Every single time the mod pack updates, it breaks and destroys and corrupts my previous single player worlds and makes them unloadable and if they are loadable, I just always end up falling through the void forever when they do load. I don't even DARE update the mods on my server world. How do you keep the mods updated and yet keep your previous worlds? Is there a way to update them and not break them???? This is the second update that broke my wolds on me. (thankfully I backed them up this time) The error I'm getting when I start the maps is: " Is there any way to get my previous maps to work at all??? I've done so much building! I don't want to lose these worlds and I especially don't want to lose my multiplayer server map! Is anyone else other than me having this problem?
  5. What helped me was this: When you start the client, look in the top right corner. You'll see the little circle thing that you click on that brings out a pop-out menu. In that menu, you can tell the client how much memory you want the client to use. I bumped mine up to 3 gigs. I've been told not to go higher than that or it slows Java down for some reason. Most people reccomend setting it to at least 2 gigs. Give that a shot. It made a big difference in my game's performance.
  6. When I put the new update in and went to load up my world, I got a Forge error saying that I had a mismatched Item type present in the world missing in the game or something like that. Reloading a previous build of the B-Team mod didn't help. Loading my world in spite of it broke it and I just kept falling out of the world and into the void. This happened with each of my older worlds. I have a world on a server that a friend and I have done quite a bit of building on and I'm afraid of this happening. Is there any safe way to get the server updated without getting this error? Looking at the log, it looks like it has to do with the Glaacticraft update. Lesson Learned. Back up my worlds before loading them with an updated mod pack.
  7. I actually had it popped up to 3 and it made a HUGE difference in performance. I was running around shooting the tornado gun and there was no lag at all which astounded me because I was using that "along with being in a REALLY DENSE redwood forest" with a village in it as my benchmark. Performance really cleared up. I hadn't even noticed that little options symbol up there.
  8. It was set to 1 Gig. I didn't realize this was an option (I'm totally NEW to this client.). How many gigs is reccomended.?
  9. I'm pretty much in "browse mode" with this mod at the moment, so I exploring everything in creative to look at the new biomes and such. I've found that every time I return from the Nether, the computer hangs when loading the world and then crashes. This doesn't generate a crash report. It just dumps me back to the Technic client screen. It also does this when I explore for a long time. If I point myself in a direction and start flying, say for about 15-20 minutes, the I will begin to notice a definite FPS drop until I will get to a point where I can see on the map where the next chunk isn't loading and then the game will stop completely and kick me out to the Technic client screen without generating a crash report. My computer should have plenty of ram and graphics capabilty to handle everything this mod throws at it so I don't know what's going on. It seems to me like this problem is some kind of lag based crash but I can't figure out how to stop it. Reducing the graphics quality and my render distance didn't help either.
