What is it- A race to the moon! When is it- Saturday April 26th starting at 8 am PST. Sign up will close end of Friday. Server will be open to join before 8am, however, contestants will be confined to their starting location until start time. Where is it- This will be held on our Tekkit event server located at events.fiveguysgaming.com How do I sign up- Visit the fiveguysgaming.com to sign up. Be sure to choose what color team you'd like to be a part of. Note- The server will be open to spectators and no sign up is required. This event is a contest to see which team can be the first to make it to the moon. 8 Teams consisting of two players will work together to accomplish the task. If teams fill we will increase the number of members per team. Prizes will be awarded for First, Second and Third place. Prizes Each member of the winning teams will be awarded the following First Place Team A complete Fusion Reactor setup, installed in your location of choice by the FGG staff Access to the /fly command for 30 days 2500 bonus Grief Prevention claim blocks In-game/website tag Second Place Team 3 Tesseracts Access to the /fly command for 30 days 2,000 bonus Grief Prevention claim blocks In-game/website tag Third Place Team Access to the /fly command for 30 days 1000 bonus Grief Prevention claim blocks Contest Rules There are no rules when it comes to griefing, theft, killing, looting, tricking, fighting, etc. Think Hunger Games meets Amazing Race. EVERYTHING is allowed! There is room for 8, two person, teams (16 contestants total) Note- Will increase if needed You must be paired up with a team member The server is set for Hard and PVP IS enabled. Only the spawn/launchpad area is a safe zone from PVP Each team will be assigned to a color. You will be able to build in your designated launch area marked by the colored wool blocks - No other team may build or destroy in your launch area. You must depart to the moon from the designated launch area located at spawn. If you fail to do so, your team will be disqualified. Once you make it to the moon, you will have one final task signifying you have completed the race. Be sure to bring a small full oxygen tank with you. I'm wondering if there's a way to load a Mystcraft dimension when the server restarts. Right now, we have the /warp command set to take us to a Mystcraft age. The problem is that when the server first restarts, the Age is not loaded. I've placed anchors in the Age with the following results. I am using mcpc 251. I have changed mcpc.yml to keep Mystcraft loaded. I have changed the chickenchunks.cfg to enable automatic reloading of Mystcraft dimensions. I have tried with Chicken chunkloader, spot loader and made sure the settings allow to be run when not logged in. I have tried with dimesional anchors and made sure the settings allow to be run when not logged in. The only time the Chunk loaders or anchors work is when I log into the server, then the Age becomes available with /warp command. If I don't log in, one of my admins has to enter the age with the book which loads the world and then players can use the /warp command. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So our current spawn isn't much to look at. It's very plain, very simple and there's nothing to do except leave and find a home. Beacause of this and reccomendations from our members, we have begun work on a new spawn. We have a team of 6 members working on building something great. This will be a major improvement over the current area. We will have player/admin shops to allow you to buy and sell goods. A place for those new to Tekkit to view some help and get an idea of where to start. And a centralized place for everyone to view current infomation and news regarding our community. We are also getting the server economy set up. You will be able to purchase those hard to find items now, or sell them to turn a proffit, plus we have events planned after the grand opening of our spawn. There are a lot of exciting changes happening at Five Guys Gaming. Be sure to check us out!

Thank you for pointing me in the direction of PermGen. I added the code below to the starup options for java and my memory usage has been under 10% usage ever since with no more crashes. Good stuff! -XX:MaxPermSize=128m

So it seems my server continues to crash randomly. I'm not sure what is causing the crash. I have updated MCPC as suggested. There is no crash report being generated. The server stops and will not restart. I have copied and pasted the log from the console when this occurs. Please help, I'm doing my best to understand these errors. Thanks. P.S. The server is running on an i5 2500k pc with 24gb ram (15gb given to the tekkit server), dedicated ssd for the OP system (windows 7 ultimate x64) and dedicated ssd for the server, java is version 7 update 51. There were only two of us on the server when this happend. Also seems like no matter how much memory I alot to the server, it is allways using around 40%. Edit* So after the restart I noticed that the server was only using around 10% of the memory. Over the period of 2 hours the memory usage has been steadily climbing up and is now at 20% with only 2 people in the server. Could there be a memory leak somewhere and how can I narrow it down?
