  1. I don't think I can really make a bug report. It's not a default mod pack and it isn't anything to do with the launcher. I just changed some environmental variables and now I can load the world completely fine with render distance on extreme with about 70fps. However if I use some things from the mods the game will lag and then crash. Modpack=Galacticraft. If I cant fix it this weekend then I'll give up. Also, I don't want you to think I'm being rude by saying this, but please stop telling me and others to make a bug report, it's clearly not a bug otherwise most people, if not everyone who downloaded the pack would get the same error. If I was certain it was a bug then I would obviously report it, you aren't being helpful to me or anyone else. If you can help me with the technical stuff then please do, if not then I would prefer you to not comment.
  2. Ok, if it is "too easy to fix" then would you please help me out? Because I allocated more RAM and now I cant even play the game. I don't get past the loading world screen, it just crashes.
  3. Java 7 Update 51 (build 1.7.0_51-b13) I apologise for the late reply but I have had other things to do. Now every time I try and log on I am faced with a "Loading World-Building terrain" and I can never actually get into the world, either I force it to close or the game runs out of memory. I'm also running windows 8.1 pro build 9600 which isn't yet activated. I really hope you can help me. PS same results when I allocate 1GB 2GB 3GB and 4GB.
  4. Same results with 1GB, 2GB amd 3GB
  5. So, I allocated 3gb of RAM as instructed for a heavily modded minecraft client, however every time I try and load up minecraft I get stuck at "Loading world Building terrain" My PC specs should be more than enough to handle heavily modded minecraft, i7 4770k@ 3.5Ghz, 8gb 1866mhz RAM and a 780ti GPU. Every time it freezes I have to restart my computer as well because forcing it to end the task doesn't work, it just gets more glitchy and freezes into windowed mode with a full sized screen. In addition in my windows event viewer I have, and this is no exageration around 300 nvidia openGL driver out of memory errors.
  6. I could allocate more than 1 gig, but I have been advised against it. And my java version is 7.
  7. So I have used the technic launcher on my old PC and it worked completely fine, wonderfully actually. However I recently got a new PC and I noticed that every mod pack I launch is completely unplayable, about every second there is about a half second freeze frame that progressively gets worse, I changed the RAM up to 1GB, that did nothing. I also changed the java to high priority which did practically nothing. I played minecraft through the vanilla launcher and its completely fine and in vanilla it's smooth as can be. There is no way it's hardware related because I have seen people play these modpacks on lesser hardware than I use.
