How do you "Smelt down" a villager?

Thanks for the help! but it didn't work I've gave it 3 gigs 2 gigs 1.5 gigs 4 gigs and so on an so forth but it didn't do anything, I can please 1.0.8 but nothing higher

Helps please! I just got java 7 and I tried to play attack of the B team 1.0.9c The newest version, I've tried to give mine craft 6 gigs out my my 10 ( I know right!) I've detected Attack Of The B team like 5 times went into the consul and everything and I can't find out why this happens please help!
