We recommend, if it's a desktop, to get a dedicated graphics, as it is always a better option, anyways. However, there is a fix. Please press WindowsKey + X and click on "Programs and Features" and uninstall all copies of Java.     not FO4, but FO3 got a lot of my attention back in the day. I still have New Vegas on my steam library, with very few hours on it.

    I don't have any love for Bethesda anymore, but Obsidian laid much passion in NV and I hope I get to it one day. I hear Joshua Graham is still considered the coolest character ingame. haven't yet met him...

    War Wind. was an old nostalgic strategy game for me that got lost in time. I recently found it on GoG.com and got to play it again. it's a strategy sci-fi with alien races in an alien planet where humans are not involved.

    I know now why it got overshadowed by giants like Warcraft. WW's AI is crap. still nice to play it after all these years

     

    Does Pokemon Gold count as "old"? I've played that again on an emulator, alongside Silver, Crystal and Yellow to get all the exclusive ones. Gotta catch 'em all! Then hate yourself for wanting those shiny ones, by breeding with a shiny ditto. Or crossbreeding with different 'mons to get the right move to the right Pokemon you want. :corsair: :psyboom: yes, I grind a lot.

    You didn't mention minecraft Lets Plays specifically, so I'll toss this one in here; trmplays. He plays my favourite mod Prophecy of Pendor in Mount & Blade: Warband.

    my bar for youtube LPs are low: don't have loud techno intros/outros, don't constantly beg for subs/likes and don't fumble around on the game like an idiot. I'll give subs/likes if I like what I see. tmrplays cuts unecessary stuff in his gameplays and shows the interesting parts. cut straight to the case. I like that.

    I don't know if the following counts as Lets Plays either, but I'm currently watching Campaign 2 of Critical Role. a bunch of nerdy ass voice actors who plays a silly tabletop game called Dungeons & Dragons.

    Moved back to Launcher Bug reports. This is a bug w/ the launcher. Forge backported the 1.13+ changes in some version after 2847, we should be handling this. -Ptolemy

    this and Windows 10 on an old PC makes for a bad combination. there's a inside struggle with software going on here.

    Get an older java version. copying this from our Technic discord bot:

    1.) Completely close the Technic launcher. DO NOT skip this step.

    2.) Download: http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=98428

    3.) Run the Java installer called: jre-8u25-windows-x64.exe that you just downloaded

    4.) Follow the on screen instructions of the Java installer. Stick with the default settings. Click next or accept for each screen.

    5.) After the Java installer has finished installing Java. Start up the Technic launcher again.

    6.) Click on the tab called MODPACKS at the top of the window.

    7.) Click on the button that says Launcher options in the top right of the window

    8.) Click on the tab called Java settings

    9.) Click on the dropdown called Minecraft Java Version

    10.) Click on the option called 1.8.0_25 64-Bit

    11.) Change Memory to a value between 2 GB and 6 GB. DO NOT allocate more than 6gb.

    12.) Attempt to launch a modpack. DO NOT update Java 8 again as updates past the one you were just provided will not work with your system and cause crashes.
