so id have to wipe the mods empty and add the ones that are unable to resolve first then place the others?

Ok so I added equivalent exchange 3 to the server and idfixminus and it had fixed the id conflicts I was getting but I wanted to add "war and mage" to the server as well and I get the "slot 4071 is already occupied by alchemicalbag" now how do i go about fixing slot occupied errors? Trying to add LightBridge/LightDoors War And Mage but both will give an slot occupied. If anyone gets some free time, help would be greatly appreciated. ty I know from previous conversations that doing these edits with idfix means i have to share the entire edit with members on my server so if anyone was going to warn me rest easy about having to mention it

oh well ty and loader for getting back to me on that so to reassure myself ur saying ill just need to provide my members with a download to a copy of my mods folder correct? also. will it be a 1 time fix? or say if i add a new mod after i use idf ill have to re run idf if it conflicts but does that also re randomize/correct all ids=id have to re upload my entire mod folder again? :x i hope that made sense LOL

but since i have only 2 people atm as is wouldnt it be optimum to do that anyway? get the mods fix ids then just make a new rar on mega.co n have them use that folder? from my perspective it seems a good idea now then down the road when i have 15-20+ ppl Would you mind linking me (if its allowed) the program and a guide? Id be very greatful

in the mean time i have it back to hamachi setup till my friends get off. but off-topic how would 1 change id's? is it as simple as just going into the configs n changing them? I would like to add light doors/bridges mod but last time i tried it would give me unexpected errors.or i think id conflicts :x It can be a very nifty mod imho tonight i will re attempt no-ip and get back to you

Well I was using a fake to prevent randoms from joining but its ouraotbtserver.no-ip.org and it pings 4 times with no loss i have also tried my own ip as well to ping and again 4 pings - 0 loss :/ Would it be possible to be t.vd to have my set up looked at? :x or is there anymore info i need to provide? update: its actually connection refused:connect :/ very sorry

Like the title says. I noticed with my terribad speed test I have only had two people over the past month playing with me and as time goes by their signals drop to the point they drop out of the server and have to reconnect only to later do the same thing. So i am trying to set up a no-ip host and I have tried setting up my router but no matter what I have tried so far when trying to join the host name it gives a "connection failed:connect" Port forwarded 25566 to udp and tcp (when i do port check 25565 is blocked even WITH firewall disabled) but 25566 is open and port check can see my services added this rule to my laptops ip downloaded the no-ip DUC set up an account and set up a host start up my client and have tried adding the server host name to ip address like no-ip instructs and i have tried direct connecting adding would say the server cant be reached while direct would give connection failed:connect I have a static ip set up to prevent ip changing (dunno if that can even affect the server) Is it something wrong on my part? Any help is appreciated this is an example on my router during the port forward i set the port forward to my laptop (192.168.29) (<---fake for demonstration) the youtube videos tell me to keep my server properties ip blank and connect via add or direct connect to louiseaotbtserver.no-ip.org end result: connection failed:connect

Nothing machine wise I see. Believe it or not but aotbt already has c4, lmgs, pistols but I dont see a need for them atm. witchery seems..... meh, I don't really fiddle with witchcraft myself but maybe if some of the people in my server ask ill consider adding. Im just the tech guy myself, factorys, pipes, solar power, alchemy (alchemy bag storage ftw) Anywho, thanks loader for all ur insight and advice.

I understand lol and appreciate your efforts on the forums Some people on the internet can be demanding indeed So the only other thing I actually wanted to know is if you knew any mods that are actually missing in your opinion that can work with 1.6.4 and actually benifit the long haul for a server? I just feel like there is so much techy mods missing :x I started aotbt and i DO love it I just assume you can always make things "better" I hope you can get what I mean :x haha

To b honest I was actually expecting to get troller/flamed ._. so glad that was not the case. Thank you loader for the help. Could you explain enhanced portal when you get some more free time? Little confused on what you meant by the whole part that you liked (i am dense and wont deny it) It is upsetting to hear that the mods may not be made for 1.6.4 but I am sure not everyone always gets what they want but hey! Least I can use portal gun now thanks to your advice. I will post back to make sure its working; Again ty loader for your help so far update:So happy now that you helped me the portal gun works. does it also need to be the same obsidian? or does the type not matter (normal vs obsidian from chisled)

We can enter our nether portal but for some reason whenever we return through the portal in the nether it makes a brand new portal instead of sending us back to our made portal. I tried switching the nethers portal with regular (not chiseld) obsidian and vise versa with our portal but it just keeps making a new portal instead of using ours to send us back are we doing something wrong? also can someone post a guide link here so i can learn how to combine mod packs? id like to have tekkit combined with aotbt ... if possible for my server. all help is appreciated. ty for reading

I have tried following previous videos trying to do what they instruct for original mc or for tekkit (placing the zip file into the "mods" section) but to no avail (does not show up under total mods being used Is it possible and are there things I need to know before doing so? Trying to get spanx retextured 1.5v portal gun into attack of b team. Any help is appreciated

Hello to those who are reading and are willing to send some Helpful info Related to the topic and I thank you for your help. I played the original minecraft but I watched some friends play tekkit and saw all the beautiful machinery and wanted to switch over to a "mod pack" Problem is I do not know which mod pack is actually the right one for me :/ Anywhoooo, I am looking for whichever mod pack can offer me the ability to make my minecraft life very techy but only towards making complex buildings and simplifying everyday life tasks... That is of course after I obtain the items necessary to make said simplifiers lol. I do not care for anything war related but if the mod pack requires me accepting a few battle items I do not mind. Some specific things I am looking for may or may not help you understand my search. quarry machines forcefield (to protect from griefers (may make where I build my stuff into a server)) machines to auto slaughter animals collect food and re populate (if there is such a thing) or just something that can reproduce some sort of food portal doors (for infinite possibilities) I do not know if it must be manually added but I guess there was a minion rod of sorts? and IF I recall there is a portal and book you can create to customize brand new dimensions and such I love all agriculture item (diff plants, trees, different biomes, lands) I can;t think of much else I saw so I also hope I am not expecting tooo much :/ Ill understand if 1 mod pack will lose 1 or 2 of these things... Can't get everything you want right? lol As I said above I appreciate all the helpful info I can get. Looking forward to som good replies
