You can play offline, when the pack loads it will say play offline rather than play, no idea on that however?

What in order to get all the server files etc?

If tekkit is installed on your computer already then no internet is required, however i do not believe you can run the launcher on a USB stick, however you should be able to copy the .technic file into the roaming area onto the Grandparents computer, you may be able to use your phone as wifi hotspot in order to log into your minecraft account

Also are all the mods 1.6.4 compatible and all the core mod files are there? Java 8 could be causing a few problems, try dowgrading to Java 7 update 51 or higher

Client side mods shouldnt be in the mods folder for a server So ArmorStatusHUD, DynamicLights, NEI&NEI plugins, optifine and Zans minimap and way points

Hi I downloaded the same forge installer as in my modpack, i created a folder and installed the server into that folder using the installer, however when i run minecraft_server_1.6.4 it comes up with an error (warning failed to save server.properties) Am i doing something wrong? Also i tried to create a server using ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>) and that also ends up with the server crashing?

Is there a way you can provide a zip file to the server you quickly set up for my modpack please?

They can't help with custom modpack They said this Hello, I can't specify as we don't know, the Console is not showing which mod is the cause and as we provide an unmanaged service we cannot provide support for modpack issues, sorry. Your server starts fine on Vanilla so it is definitely a mod causing the issue. You should ensure that all mods installed are server based mods and are not versions of the mods intended for installations on minecraft clients.

The modpack.jar has to be in the Base folder rather than the bin folder

Is there a tutorial I can follow to set up a custom modpack on multicraft?

They use multicraft, I changed my modpack.jar to Minecraftforge.Jar in order for it to run?!?!?

Unfortunately the host I'm using can't provide specific info, hopefully it's only the recipe file causing problems, as it runs fine on single player

Hi all, i have succesfully made a modpack (http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/details/modpack-for-my-friends.371415) and it runs fine on single player, however i uploaded it to a server host using multicraft and it wont start? Is it because the modpack has core files in it, are these client side, i dont know why it wouldnt start when it runs fine on single player?

I done what you mentioned in the previous step of deleting the config from appdata....../my modpack etc, it loaded fine in singleplayer, I uploaded to dropbox, ran through my launcher and it's working perfectly! Many thanks for all of your help :D

Thats what I did, installed resonant induction by itself to get the config (plus necessary mods), then fixed all id conflicts, uploaded, re downloaded and then BAM!

Remove the config file, upload to file host site, then redownload the pack? I'm lost as well
