I know this isn't the correct place to post my question, but I tried to servers and it said: You don't have permissions. Anyway, I have launched a server and tried to connect with my PC but I got an error: Bad login. I searched it in google but whatever I tried to do that was there didn't wrok. Can you help me with this? I have also have a laptop and a different account and it works there.

I've been recently trying to create a Nether Portal in tekkic classic 3x5 in size, but it isn't a valid one, though when I use flint n steel it just lights up obsidian and does not create the portal. Can anyone please tell me the valid portal sizes or the file that sort of contains them?

Thank you! Very helpful answers! I have realised that the game I want a server to is Tekkit Classic, so i suppose I open it from the launcher and then run the Tekkit Classic server (along with port and router settings), right?

I am planning to do so, that's why I asked here. Recently when I run the server using Minecraft version 1.6.4 (because i saw a minecraft server file 1.6.4) it poped that no FML is installed, can't connect to server. Does this piece of info help?

Well no, I donwloaded the Tekkit server files and run launcher.bat, then I open Minecraft and connect to the server using localhost command. I also tried Technic launcher but it pops up an error when trying to download a file, so I never get there.

I have just downloaded the Tekkit server, installed it, installed latest Java and opened the Tekkit launcher. I am also connecting through localhost and running Minecraft version 1.7.9 . When trying to connect though I get the error: Failed to connect to server Timed out on Minecraft and on the server cmd I get: Reached end of stream for / [iP]. Can anyone help me with this?
