    I had the exact same error message, but it only appears on java version 8 AKA the java version for 64 bit windows 8, which I personally have. That seems to also be what is causing from the last line of text, when it says support was removed in java version 8. I'm sorry I don't have an actual answer, but I feel your pain and hope for a fix to come from the knowledge at hand.
