  1. The closest I have to near infinite energy has been using magmatic engines in the nether to an energy tesseract to the overworld to a redstone cell that is my main power and a secondary redstone cell to refill from any excess energy. If you would like you can watch my series on youtube: Let's Play Big Dig Season 2 (Big Dig 1.3.4) It will show the basic setup and how easy it is to expand. (may want one lava pump per 8 engines). I hope that helps you.
  2. I too have encountered this error. Has the been others with this issue? I plan to see what I can do with mine and will post here if I got it fixed.
  3. I have had the same issue. After reading a thread about /op [buildcraft] It can now breifly show the gui before getting a dirt screen then white. I have to force close tekkit before going back on. I see nothing in the server log. I'm the only one so far that gets the crash. I have an ATI 5970.
  4. This helped me so much. Thank you. I still have much to learn when it comes to mods.
  5. No error report that I could find server or client side. The screen will flicker and say the device driver has recovered. If I continue on I will eventually blue screen (it disappears too fast for me to to write down). I have yet to test tekkit 3.0.3 client yet for this issue. I have been on 2.1.1.
  6. I too have this exact error. I'm on OS 10.6.8. The previous launcher version worked fine, but I wanted to use Tekkit 3.0.3. Since my launcher was not up to date, it would load vanilla MC. I'm also using Java 6.
  7. I found that a singularity compressor also causes this issue. So it seems that some of the advanced machines are part of the issue. I'm using ati 12.4 drivers for my 5970. I have tested all 12 drivers (and later 11 versions) with no luck. I have yet to find a setting that can bypass this error. Does anyone have suggestions? I would love to get into more of the advanced machines on my server.
  8. I had a similar problem. However, looking at the error logs, I didn't see any conflicts or messages about what is causing it. After about 1-2 weeks of searching I found that I logged out near a Rotary Macerator. Once that was removed, I have not had an issue since. As far as I have seen, there was no errors on conflicting id's, so I don't know what the cause actually is. I hope this helps you as it did me!
