I'm confused as to why there is not a BCv3 in Tekkit v3. Is that too different to convert to bukkit, or is it kept the same for the sake of existing servers? I'd eventually like to see a branch that is based on BC3 for new servers to try, at least. BC2 won't be supported for as long as BC3, I'll bet.

What about using one block id representing more than one block is so hard that he needs to copy someone else? Minecraft already does this with slabs and stairs and stone bricks.

As we've seen, Forestry has been removed due to mod author backlash. However, do all these authors feel the same way? I doubt it. Does anyone have quotes where mod authors are explicitly pleased to have mods they coded included in the technic pack? If so, share them , or let this topic fade into obscurity, whatever works.

Am I correct in stating that the Excruciating version has no Eldritch wood? I read the spoilers and I certainly did not find any in the stated location.

Er.. how do I make bronze without ores to dust? If I had bronze I could make more UU matter so I could make clay. There's a single piece of UU matter in one of the chests, but there's no way to make more. It can't be duplicated or transmuted. Am I supposed to add it to my Thaumcraft config for smelting? What value should it have?

Is there any way I can convince Eldritch Trees to spawn? I assume it's biome based but I don't know the coordinates of a suitable biome. Edit: Oh. I'm dumb, the world is superflat, so it's all plains. There is no way to spawn an Eldritch Tree. Another Edit: I'm going to test to see if they spawn on grass in the nether.
