Those, along with the ridiculously large rubber trees, are created by Buildcraft World. You can disable that, but it may remove basalt & marble. (I haven't tried it.) I'm not sure if there's a setting that will reduce it, but I suspect not given that SpaceToad said in his MC thread that he is proud of both features and won't permit them to be disabled. Whether or not that's true, I don't know.

That is all wrong it is red power world from eloraam, not build craft world from space toad. However what you said about disabling them is true.

If anyone would be kind enough to explain this to me I would be grateful. I know how to get my ip and I did that with Hamachi. I am on a Mac and I have hosted a vanilla server before but never a bukkit one. When I opened the zip, I figured there would be a run or start command but there was none. Do I need to also get bukkit? Besides there being no start command I was just confused by all the files.

Ps. I know this was asked but that post wasn't that great and didn't get many replies.
