  1. I agree this must be it but without some acknowledgement from Technic's end I'm stuck using Dropbox. At this point the failure to acknowledge the problem even with a ticket in the system is proving the most frustrating. I even have older packs configured to use my host but that was apparently when the platform was less "picky"?
  2. I think the problem @plowmanplow is that even if you have paid for hosting (like I do) the site doesn't recognize it as being valid. I'm still waiting for any answer to my question. I know it's not your problem but the days of this issue being ignored have come to a close. This is a serious issue the Technic people need to address.
  3. Any updates on this?
  4. Thank you for your help.
  5. Anyone have any ideas? I've submitted a platform help request. Hopefully this can be resolved.
  6. What is the DropBox URL you're posting to the platform?
  7. As a test I was able to install and play my old 1.6.4 pack as configured using the launcher which means the launcher connected to and downloaded the old pack from my host.
  8. Thanks! I will make that change. It is. It represents a beta of the current published pack. After giving up on my hosting site I stopped uploading the in progress packs to it. I can but the Technic site won't let me save the pack with my hosts URL in the pack location. It gives an error about bad URL and blanks the location field. I do have a pack saved using my host. It is a 1.6.4 pack though. http://technicpack.net/modpack/equitas-custom.343182
  9. Fair enough. Modpack: http://technicpack.net/modpack/equitas-custom-1710.801923 Dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ffywb5l8sj0rmv1/Equitas%20Custom.zip?dl=1 Custom: http://equitasguild.org/Equitas_Custom_1710_beta2.zip
  10. I have in the past used my hosting for my custom domain as the host for the ZIP file for a technic pack. That seems to still be supported but the site rejects the link. I've checked the URL headers and the site is reporting HTTP 200 and I can link directly to the file. Am I missing something? Is this broken? I can and am using Dropbox in the interim but this is not the solution I'd like to use going forward as my custom hosting has much greater bandwidth and much larger storage. Thanks for your time!
