  1. Well I want to keep these errors from recurring, not just fix them. Any idea what might cause this to happen?
  2. Last night my friend and I were building on dam on my Tekkit server, when suddenly, a chunk got copied a whole bunch of times all over the place! This is a sample of one of the many messages like it I got in the server log: 03.11 23:20:27 [server] INFO Chunk file at -10,1 is in the wrong location; relocating. (Expected -10, 1, got -26, 2) Here are some screenshots of it: http://imgur.com/a/mwrre Should I run Chunkster on it? This has never happened to me before, and I'm pretty worried. Thanks for all the help.
  3. Well, I got them fixed, but I realized that I forgot to change that. I thought I had set that (I was tired, ok) and I tested a turtle and they worked! Thanks for your time!
  4. I have been having trouble with ComputerCraft Mining Turtles. They will run the commands, then abort as soon as the encounter a block. Here is what happens It appears to be some thing with Essentials Spawn. I have [Computercraft] given ALL permissions with PEX. The error is right here: http://pastebin.com/99MnbpRh I would be quite happy if you could give me help with fixing it. To get Quarries and things to work, I gave Buildcraft all the Permissions, but I was wondering what the minimum amount of Permissions I can give to it and still have it work properly. Thanks you for all your help, I want to get this fixed quickly so the people on my server can use them.
  5. You ought to add in the fix for the huge NEI bug where if you save your inventory and then turn it on cheat mode, you can spawn those items back in. It is pretty major. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/nei-server-mod-permission-check-exploit-fix.11032/
  6. ERMAGHERD! I'LL BET IT IS! Better install SuperAntiHerobrine!! Wait... Where do I find the download again? Ugh. I keep forgetting the link to it... But legitimately, I ran Chunkster, and and it just said "Starting Scan" "press any key to continue..." It said it will show itself fixing chunks, so I'm assuming it either didn't work or didn't find any corrupt chunks...
  7. Alrighty. I'll try running it on the world and give my report back here. I really hope we don't have to make a new one, we just got our apple factory running...
  8. Ok, first off, I wasn't sure if it should go in bugs or in General Tekkit, but it didn't really seem like a bug to me. List of what's been happening: -Chest resets. It has happened with both alchemical and Crystal chests. My friend emptied most of his inventory into a Alchemical chest, and then a few days later asked me if I had taken, becuase it was gone. I hadn't and was very confused. (The log said we were the only ones who had played in that time period) Later, I emptied all my extra crap into a Crystal chest to make room for mob grinder materials, and about an hour later when I re-surfaced, it was totally empty, again I checked the log, even though it was obvious in chat I was the only one playing at the time. -Chunk resets, sort of. So we were building a factory and a quarry, ect. and we had a MFE hooked up to an Energy Link and Energy Teleport pipes. Thee, suddenly I looked in the MFE and it was totally empty of power, and reset with the output side facing downwards, upon going upstairs, my friend found his Batbox, Electric Furnace, Generator, etc. were all reset and facing downwards. Another example of this is I was fixing some creeper holes around our farm perimeter, and then, before my eyes roughly half of the farm just uprooted and turned all the tilled ground to dirt. I collected all the materials, and after I had put them in a chest I looked at the farm again, and there was tall grass on it, even where there was dirt, where it won't place. -Regenerating volcanoes. Every time the chunks unload or the server restarts. There is a volcano in the desert near where we were building, and I was walking by it and noticed the Big Tree on top of it was gone, and upon closer investigation, the checkerboard we had made on top of it was gone too. I quickly ran around to the other side and realized: the volcano had completely regenerated, deleting the house a player had built in it. I tried restarting the server to see if it would fix the problem, but to my surprise, the volcano was totally gone! I restarted again, and the volcano was back, with me stuck inside of it. I had a player tell me that a volcano generated directly in front of him once, but I just figured it didn't render properly since he lived on the other side of the world, and the volcanoes are glitchy enough in the first place. -Random "lines" of different biomes going straight through other biomes. THere is a jungle near on of our factory setups, and a few days ago I noticed something very strange: there was a perfect line going through the jungle where not a single tree was. perfectly vertical sides, complete with halved trees. I took a closer look and I noticed that while the trees got deleted, there were some random floating vines, and the ground seemed to be intact and generated normally. -Being totally unable to build in certain areas, because they reset when the chunks unload or there is a server restart. We were building our main factory building, and my friend complained that he couldn't build in a certain spot because every time he re-logged, the blocks were gone and it was regenerated. I tried building there after he had left, then re-logged, and sure enough, everything I had placed along certain lines were gone. I noticed the very corner of the area had the co-ordinates 0,0 so I thought maybe it was some sort of spawn protection in Bukkit. Spawn is actually quite far away from there, even when the world first generated and we moved spawn slightly. This is very near the areas of screwed up jungle, magic farm and the disappearing volcano. The only one that was quite a distance from these was the machine reset and the Crystal chest inventory deletion. Here are some videos I made of them. Please note they aren't at very high quality because I really didn't want to wait for them to upload, and I sped them up, because the picture play speed was very slow. Also, FRAPS screwed up what it recorded in certain points for no apparent reason, so there are just total black spots. It would probably better and more informative to you if you just skimmed through the videos and saw what was generally happening. Also, it is only a few volcanoes on the server that do this. I have my main house in a volcano and it has been perfectly fine except for that part where all the machines got reset. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmbS2nwGoJo and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPWuJOBfryA Thanks for any help, a list of plugins we are using is below. AutoSaveWorld ChopTree2 Essentials (Including chat and spawn) Scavenger SimpleJail SWatchdog, Tekkit edition Worldedit All of these should be up to date, I re-downloaded all of them about a week ago to find out which wasn't compatible with Tekkit. (I deleted it, it was IPLock) Our permissions are just using Bukkit. The world download can be found here: http://www.mediafire.com/?g2hm7275uodfcx8 And my permissions are here, though I don't know why they would screw anything up. http://www.mediafire.com/?xwuun1k5aldd56s ALSO: I can upload the .jar if you think it is the problem, but I downloaded a fresh one and ran the map on my computer when I recorded the videos, so I'm pretty sure it was the world. http://www.mediafire.com/?adc2j73hm4v83de Again, thanks for all of your help, sorry if this isn't in the right forum, but it just doesn't seem like a "bug" to me. Well I believe all spelling errors are gone, but I'm a bit tired right now so please forgive me for any that are still there...
  9. Ok, I tested all my plugins and here are the results: The fact that IpLocks doesn't work scares me a bit because with the migrated account exploit and with almost every hack client letting you go onto servers as pretty much anyone, it was my only defense against that. Do any of you have suggestions of other plugins like this I could use? I have a whole Tekkit server set up on my computer now, so I can easily test plugins...
  10. These are my plugins. I'm not using any permissions plugins. Just op and not-op permissions...
  11. Hmm, I did that, and I also found someone else's list of ops to put, and it looks like this: I pasted them into ops.txt and restarted the server but quarries and block breakers still don't work. I haven't seen that socket error again, it seems to have gone away. Any idea to what it means?
  12. I deleted both of those Plugins, and the messages went away (big surprise). it seems to be working fine except once I go this: I don't really know what any of that means, but I lost connection, and I reconnected second later perfectly fine. I also noticed that RedPower's block breakers seemed to stop working. We had them on this little spammy clock set to pulse every half-second and it quit working, so I broke one and replaced it, and it still didn't work. After that I decided to just place it in the open with a cobble block in front of it and placed a redstone torch beside it, and it still didn't work. I have heard of where you need to type something like /op [buildcraft] and things to get mods to work sometimes. Do I need to do something like that to get them to work again? They were broke before I deleted those two plugins, so I don't think that caused the problem
  13. Title: 64KB of [sEVERE] messages in the server log... Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4 OS: Windows 7, 64 bit (the bug is on the server, so I don't know if it should be mine or the ones the host is using) Java Version: Java 1.7.0_05, 64 bit Description of Problem: Here are my observations of the log: it looks like it is saying something about DynMap, then something about CraftBukkti scheduler, then something about the Minecraft server, then a problem with Java, then the Minecraft Server again. If you skip to line 983, or CTRL-F and search "applebob" you see something about bedrock and then some more with PEX about CraftBukkit not being able to tell it something about logging out. And then on line 1041, it has something about PEX failing to inject a Permissible, whatever that means. These same messages appear to be repeating. Is the PermissionsEx plugin enabled? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That is a sample of the error messages. I have a topic I accidentally posted in the wrong forums and I feel like a total idiot for it, but you can still see it. I have a list of my plugins, etc. and also a strange thing where the log says someone logged in, and the chat says someone logged out, even though no one ever joined or quit the server. That is about it, thanks for all you help. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/64kb-of-severe-messages-in-the-server-log.15227/ Error Log: http://pastebin.com/k2cDgm86
  14. Ok, please delete this I accidentally double-posted because of laggy internet and from receiving an error message from the forums.
  15. I am not using any terrain generators, so the "Wallcanoes" are normal... I'll pastebin the log, but any idea what the SEVERE messgaes were in the first pastebin? (Added later) Well, this isn't good... The server host appears to have it set up to delete your log after a server restart so I do not have the log file from earlier... Sorry about that. I guess you can close this since you really can't help me anymore. If it happens again, I will download the log immediately and post it, but it usually happens during the times when people are off, or not in the area to actually see it, since that is a lot more than when people are on and actually in the same area as it, so they usually don't see it. We were just lucky. P.S. If you put a space in Wallcanoes, it spells wall canoes...
