  1. If you are using Windows you can find your local IP address through bringing up the command prompt and typing "ipconfig", this is for if all the computers are on the same LAN. To find your public IP address (for over the internet play) type "whats my IP" into Google and it should tell you, but then you will probably have to play with port forwarding on your router.
  2. What are you trying to do? a LAN server or do you want people to join over the net? What operating system are you using?
