For those of you who are stuck with the Technic Launcher 'Checking version' bug that makes it so that after downloading the launcher, it just won't start, here is a fix. Download: http://www.mediafire.com/?x61m0izs31ihy0g *This download link is only for the batch file I created and no the .jar itself!*(Credits to BurningCake for telling me this) Instructions: 1. Go to Technicpack.net 2. Download the Linux Version of the Launcher(or called the jar). It should be "technic-launcher-latest.jar". 3. Extract the downloaded batch file to the same location as the jar file. 4. Run the batch file or edit the memory values inside according to your needs(Default is 512Mb). 5. Voila! For those who used this solution, please post feedback on whether or not it worked and post any error logs for review.
