  1. There's a virus called "Relevant Knowledge" that someone on MCForums had a similar issue because of. You might want to check for it.
  2. If that's the hosting setup you're using for the pack, that would explain things. You need a direct link to the file, such as Dropbox might provide. Other than that, I'm just guessing, since you didn't post logs or a more detailed description of what is wrong.
  3. Use the same username and password you use logging into the Minecraft launcher.
  4. Heavy posting day - despite the fact that this morning I broke my graphics drivers.

I had a spare monitor I was trying to hook up, but the driver didn't like it. I tried switching from proprietary to open-source drivers, while I was updating from Ubuntu 12.04 to 12.10. It didn't work, but I reinstalled the proprietary drivers and it works now.

Ah, I see. Is it the AMD drivers? I've heard of a lot of problems with them on linux.

Yeah. Properly uninstalling them is hard.

  5. Show this to the maker of Dev Capes.
  6. You may have a virus called "RelevantKnowledge" that breaks Technic. Remove it with the anti-malware tool of your choice.
  7. Try something like: while true do os.pullEvent("redstone") if(rs.getInput("front") then rs.setOutput("back",true) os.sleep(60*9) rs.setOutput("back",false) end end Assuming your input is through the front and output back. Change those as necessary.

  14. Good for you.
  15. Will this not work for you? EE2 in Tekkit Classic probably depends on the tekkit.jar in the server files. Hopefully you should be able to decompile it with JD-GUI, extract the source and edit it in Eclipse. If you want to stop the items from working, I'd guess that all you need to do is make any methods in EE2 that override onInteract or something like that return immediately, or delete it altogether.
  16. You haven't posted your log properly, so we can't help you.
  17. Reset the pack and download it again.
  18. Use your Minecraft account, not your Technic account.
  19. That looks a lot like the issue here. You might want to try the fixes listed in that thread.
  20. Try a different Pixelmon pack.
  21. That modpack is a .rar archive. Technic only works with .zip files. Have whoever made the modpack re-compress the file as a zip.
  22. That Pixelmon pack probably overloaded Dropbox's bandwidth limits, causing Dropbox to suspend access to it.
  23. The file is unavailable, returning an error code. See?
  24. Try re-downloading the modpack.
  25. Technicpack.net may have been down. Try again later, I guess.
